Hogwarts (and crew) react to LOST. WE ARE SO EXCITED! Papa Brian is the only one who has seen it! This is going to be fun!
We're finally back! Its been a long road to get here. We've been busy MOVING HEADQUARTERS, acting in plays, writing music, making movies, and traveling the world, (okay, Sleepy Hannah is the only one traveling) but we are FINALLY back in the studio/living room!

Can’t believe the camera cut out as Danielle got shot. That was such a “holy shit” moment when I first saw that! Oh man, the next episode...some serious shit is about to go down!

I think this might be the best reaction to this episode I have seen so far. It's refreshing to see someone empathize with Michael. I really like that.

Right as Micheal tries to shoot himself in his room the TV is saying "Kurt Vonnegut" One of Vonnegut's early works was a play where the climax is a woman being kept alive against her will in a robotic body finding to her horror that cannot shoot herself. I wouldn't be surprised if that was an actual coincidence. I also wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a coincidence.

Oh Wow, I never knew that. I really wouldn't be surprised if that Wasn't a coincidence. Given how much Thought they put in to the names of some of the characters, naming characters like Desmond and Daniel and John (and you-know-who, Lost's JB) after famous philosophers and scientists whose works had connection to our respective Lost characters.....yeah....I would be VERY surprised if it Was just coincidence :)

Just in regards to whether Jin may have died off island after being rescued - on his gravestone his date of death is shown as 9/22/04 - the date of the plane crash.

@@Jordan-Ramses my ridiculous theory. He also could have survived the last episode. Then after that. Gave up and Decided to abandon that situation, changed his name and life to Damon Pope. A business owner that then starts associating with a group of motorcycle gang members. Sons of Anarchy.

In addition to the "You're not my type" scene with Kate, there's also the scene where he and Jack are looking down on Ben and Juliet in the operating room and he says to Jack 'I'm Tom, by the way...' and Jack observes him for a couple of seconds. :D

I stopped taking things in life for granted when this was almost the season finale because of the writers' strike. It's refreshing to see empathy for Michael. He redeemed himself :(.

The way I see it, if you were to watch this week to week, and had the time to decompress every episode, you would easily know who the 6 are by now. I think Brian is just trying to simulate that water cooler talk. As long as he isn't getting too ahead of himself I think it's fine.

It’s about my 5th time watching the show first name :) Just interested to hear Brian’s ranking on the series because I get the feeling S4 is the sweet spot for a lot of people but S5 is way up there for me!

They actually sort of explained the significance of those specific numbers in the Alvar Hanso video that was part of The Lost Experience alternate reality game. They’re supposed to be the numbers that make up the Valenzetti Equation and if one of those core values could be changed, it could change the course of history... or something like that. Don’t really know if that whole storyline was quite considered “canon” though. That game played out across a bunch of websites, magazines and stuff during the summer break between Seasons 2-3. I still have a couple of the Apollo candy bars that got handed out in NYC.

I can't remember if this has been explained already, but why do the cameras constantly need restarting? Are they broken, or are they so old they have a weird setting where they'll only film for ten minutes? Surely it's not difficult or expensive these days to find a camera that will film for 45 minutes straight? Anyway, another good episode and I enjoyed the pie-based pre-show and the dog-based post-credits! Looking forward to Jeremy's Halloween Heisenberg goatee showing up!

Unfortunately this episode makes no sense in terms of continuity. Last season said they couldn’t leave by sub after the hatch blew. And when does Tom have time to leave and come back, never mind the question of how? And when you think about it, Michael gets suicidal REAL quick. Like a matter of days or a week.

Same time as normal - in the U.S. Daylight Saving Time just ended this past Sunday. Clocks were set back one hour...OR maybe the Island is messing with the upload times...
