In this guide I will show you the real value of army intelligence in HOI4.. Basically that all your divisions get stronger when they fight.
It's one of those mechinics in the game that is hidden in plain sight. You know it's there, but there's no tool tip to tell you how it works.
So, in this guide I will start by gooing through how this really works and how much stronger you can make your divisions using this.
I will then show you how the mechanic works and how you can boost it when you play.

Hi, yeah i figured it out by myself also and i started to do spy agency day 0, and after getting war eco/silent expert i get the agency dude for cheaper upgrades and infiltrate army as soon as possible of my enemies so it's still cheap and then just make spy networks + cheapest plane converted to spy plane, gives you a lot of intel ALSO tells you where enemy ships are stationed (so u can bomb ports) AND you can see where enemy units are, really usefull for special ops as paratroopers and sea invasions.

How much percentage can spy planes give? In war times do you still use them? and when yes on day or night only or both?

@@AccountNo-fg8fy they give totally small amount so i would just put 1 mill on then and forget about them, occasionally changing the targer area.

I build cheap naval patrol aircraft that are seaplanes with air to surface radar, nav, lots of extra fuel, the cheapest torpedo, and a recon attachment. I can then have this one plane to give me intel in little 10 plane squadrons over entire oceans or over land battlefields. Even on just one mil factory I end up stacking these as I don't use them for combat. I can then use them for whatever recon use I want. By mid-game I can fly them 4,000 plus km and late game ~7,000 km.

Great, I had no clue about that. But as France, I know how to use defensively spies in 1939-1940: a good network is enough not be invaded at all, keeping the front line in Belgium until more equipment is ready for counteroffensive.

Excellent, I did not know Invisible Ink helped. I also was still unsure why I would ever use Air Recon.., well, I see now. If you let the Air Recon tick-up, how much in total would it give you? Thank you again, great channel.

Happy that you like it! I forgot to check that last night when I recorded, but it used to be 20% I think, which is a lot if it’s still that much. But it’s easy to check when you play. You also don’t need a wing if 100; 5-10 planes is more than enough :) /Badger

Ah, just found the RADAR video. But it does not have the information I was looking for: in the video above you seem to suggest that multiple RADARs "stack" when their zones overlap? I have never been able to find info on that, so have not seen any use for setting up more radars next to one another (except to better prevent your one RADAR getting bombed and becoming out of order).
