Have just bought mine. Definitely a narrow fit in the toe box - I got a 'wide' and they're still snug. I have a pretty average width foot, judging by my previous sets of shoes.

They should work well for the occasional treadmill run, but of course there are shoes that will perform better for speedy runs and workouts.

using a pair on the PCT and love them however they suck in snow conditions 😊

The bike tire pics displayed at the beginning are not by any means gravel tires - they are full on mountain bike tires I get the notion - but gravel tires have very little bite / tread in the center with the main part of the tread being on the outside edge of the tires These shoes would be smooth / flat on the bottom with some rugged edging around the outside of the outer soles if they were in fact mimicking ‘gravel tires’ - that said, I own a pair of challenger 7’s and I am quite glad they aren’t like a gravel tire on the bottom….

Not very supportive around the ankle for me. The inside wears super quick. The tread is so slippery and very squeaky in certain flooring. Not as wide as a wide shoe should be. Other things that I don’t like but it’s my own preference is that there’s just a little too much cushioning. Nice looking shoe and definitely breathable for a waterproof shoe. I’ll stick with inov-8 and vivobarefoot for now.

You can't compare the Inov-8, vivobarefoot to Hoka shoes. They are completely different worlds. I have run over 700 km, but they look like new. No signs of wear. Yes, a little too soft, but that's normal for Hoka shoes.

@@uldistucs just my experience on them, the inside lasted about 2 weeks of easy use before they started to wear quite considerably- doesn’t matter what shoe you compare it to. They’re in the bin already. As I say just my experience. Inov8’s are almost 6 months old with lots of miles and are still as new on the uppers and inners.. tread obviously a bit worn

@@KevP. In my experience, the Inov8 wore out much faster than Hoka, Brooks, for example.
