For me, love them, biggest thing I love super easy to lock into a pace. Biggest complaint, holds moisture sweat/water. It does dry quickly.

Thoughts on this vs the new puma super trainer? My fave daily shoe has been the Saucony Tempus because I like a little support but want a show that feels quick.

I’m considering this shoe along with the NB SC Trainer 2 & Saucony Kinvara Pro. They all seem so similar, might just to try them all to see what suits me.

It’s crazy….as Big T, said… How long it took Hoka to use Pebax foam…. I mean, my goodness it’s not like they didn’t have the money to do it… So why not? Just use the best materials to make the best shoes because people are going to buy em anyway. I love to run but even Im not a hardcore runner, and I’ll even buy the more expensive shoes because of the technology that’s in them. If it’s gonna help with performance and comfort, why not?

Just got a pair of these hooked up for $50. Gonna use the NB FFMV4 for easies, Asics NB3 for dailys, Hoka Mach X for long tempos/workouts, and Nike Vaporfly for race/ faster workouts. Thanks as always for the solid reccomendations.

I almost got this shoe the other day but opted for the New balance SC trainer instead because they looked cooler. PS, Meg, why is the Hot girl summer in Austin on a freakin Friday! Saturday would have been way cooler 😎

I just got the Magic Speed 3 and Boston 12 and they're both great so far but I'll keep my eye on this one. Summer Grit is making me wanna run in ALL the shoes!

How is the Boston 12 feels on long run? And how it feels compare to Novablast 3?

@@ardkf I would say that the Boston 12 has a much more firm ride in comparison to the Novablast 3. I took it for a 10 mile run out of the box and it held up pretty well.

Tried this shoe. Loved them, but had to return because there was a surprising amount of heel lift at the top of my gate. It is a very slidey shoe that has a low heel at the back which made me want to overtighten. I sized down and the size below felt way too tight but still wanted to slide off. Overall great shoe but just not for me

I have the mach x and the speed 3, which are comparable in specs in a lot of ways. I like the endorphin speed 3 for faster efforts and enjoy the mach x for those days you need more cush, I think 10 percent different on pace and feel favoring the endorphin. As far as non carbon plate for race day would use the the X for a marathon

@ardkf because I got 500k in the speeds and still love them and I did 5k on the hokas and made sure they went straight back to hoka.. really dull shoe in comparison

@@ardkf if you have a wider foot I suggest endorphin speeds. a narrow foot hokas machs which is what I use

Can this be a good walking shoe too ? I already use the New Balance super comp trainer v1 for my ten to 15 mile walks daily then I throw on the Fresh Foam x more v4s for the after walk or rest of the day but I find myself wearing the super comp trainer even after I am done walking. how dose this Hoka Mach X stack up or compare in your opinion to the New Balance Super Comp Trainer V1 or V2

You may find it a little firm for walking. Feels like a slightly more firm Mach 4/5 at slower speeds, but when I pick up the pace, that’s when I feel that it softens up and get that bounce.

I am a walker too, not runner. I am 65 male with 3 back surgeries and heart stent. I have backed off to 5 - 10 miles because when I go 12- 18 miles my feet hurt me so bad. I need surgery on both big toe joints. Many shoes have aggressive toe spring that hurts me too much. I got the Asics Noosa Tri 14 and they are so light and feel good to put on, but they hurt my big toe joints so bad after just 2 -3 miles, that I can hardly walk back home. The best for me so far is the Altra Torin or Altra Via Olympus. I was told by therapist to try a plated shoe that would minimize flexing the toes too much. I have bone that grew over top of the joint and much pain as toe cannot flex back like normal. I like the Asics Noosa a lot and I will wear them casual until I get my toe joints fixed some day.

@@manuel_877 nice thank you. I do have a pair of the speed 3 and since i saw alot of hype on these i was wondering if they might be better than the speed3 for daily use since im more of a hybrid runner 200lbs.
