Hokkaido University has two undergraduate degree programs offered in English.
1. Modern Japanese Studies Program (MJSP)
The MJSP is a 4-year bilingual Bachelor’s Degree program preceded by a 6-month Intensive Japanese Course for those without Japanese proficiency. There are 2 modules to choose from: History/Culture and Society/Political Economy. This truly bilingual degree program is the ultimate preparation for an international career related to Japan.

2. Integrated Science Program (ISP)
The ISP is a cross-disciplinary educational science program for international students interested in pursuing a degree in the sciences. In the undergraduate component, students will major in physics, chemistry, or biology. The goal of the program is to educate students in an ensemble of scientific disciplines in the world’s most important and influential language.
