Holborn vs. Malden

Today I am comparing my Filofax Malden and my Filofax Holborn in the personal size. Thank you so much for watching :)

Among others I have an A5 Malden that I use for planning KZfaq activity ;-) and a pocket Holborn that I use as my wallet and organizer! I agree that the Malden, esp in A5, could be sturdier. But that's what i have and i hate waste, so, im trying make it work. Stuffing deep pokets with cardboard helps somewhat. I think they are more designed to hold a large volume of paper - then this would add the wait and the sturdiness to this construction! Love your videos! ❤️

Thank you for the great comparison. Now I understand the appeal of the Holborn - those pockets look great! I think I agree about the A5 Malden - I like a bit more structure for that size, so I use a Cherry Red Finsbury.

Great Video:) As i am quite new with filofaxing, right know i am using a filofax Metropole personal size. Before i watched your video i thought the malden personal would be my dream-planner. But now the holborn appears ti be pretty perfect too :p Thank you for the wonderful comparison :)

Tolles Video, der Holborn ist auch echt schön und die vielen Fächer sind wirklich praktisch. Nach dem Malden in grau hatte ich erst geschaut, aber keine Chance, ich habe ihn nirgends gefunden. Vielen dank für den Vergleich. Liebe Grüße

Ein schönes Vergleichsvideo Maria! :) Wenn ich das so sehe bekomme ich glatt Lust mir einen Holborn anzuschaffen! Um den schleiche ich schon lange rum, am liebsten in braun! Braunes Leder ist mein Favorit! :) Allerdings habe ich hier schon zu viele Filos und bisher hat es keiner geschafft meine Siena auf Dauer von ihrem Thron zu vertreiben! ;) Ich habe neben der Siena in Personal noch eine in A5 die ich als Familientagebuch nutze. Dann habe ich noch in personal einen crimson Malden den ich auch total klasse finde und immer wieder zwischendurch mal nutze! Einen Tejus in schwarz und eine Amazona in braun habe ich noch (beide sehr günstig bei ebay geschossen) die als Archiv vorgesehen sind. Dann habe ich noch 2 Fauxdoris und hadere gerade ob die nicht vielleicht als Main-Planner im nächsten Jahr herhalten könnten. Man bekommt einfach zu viele tolle Versuchungen serviert im www! :) GVLG und weiterhin gute Besserung!

How do you store the washitape? Do you just wrap it on some kind of card? I would love to bring some washitape with me, the rolls are so big.

Cascadeis Yes, I just wrap it around old gift cards :)

The pocket layout with so many places to put stuff and a slightly hidden zip compartment is super handy to make shure I dont lose anything is just right for me and what I wanted it for (a cute happy Budget planer to help motivate me to save my cash). I just need to start decorating it with cute sticky notes , stickers n stuff. Yours is very cute. Thanks again.
