Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Could someone pray for my 2 boys they live in Darkness. that breaks my heart. I hope they going to know Jesus Christ one day. I hope they going to have different friends, 🙏

I will be praying for them. Have Faith 🤲🕊 I was saved from witchcraft, overt paganism and spiritual occultism and I know many more who have been over the last few years. Our King is coming, many souls are being convicted and brought to salvation. Never underestimate the power of prayer. That must be difficult to see, I understand, my elderly father is an adamant humanist and thinks i have been brainwashed because I now believe the Bible is Truth. It’s so sad. So many in this world are so lost in the darkness and their own self righteousness, I was one of those, I was saved by the grace (and fear) of God alone. God bless you.

Our LORD be Praised. It is such a blessing to read/hear the confession of faith of fellow brethrens. Though distance marks us physically apart, however, our LORD JESUS unites us in the spirit and like in the days of the patriarch Elijah, GOD has always reserved for HIMSELF souls that will not bow to baal. Let us all by our LORD'S Grace persevere in our faith. May we constantly examine our lives in HIS WORDS and trusting HIM daily to do HIS pleasure in us, that spotless may we appear at HIS Coming. Amen

Amen, amen and thank our Dear Lord and Saviour for our hope for all eternity. As His, rejoice in all the truth never picking or choosing but appreciate the entirety of His Holy Word. We know, He does all things well. Our all consuming desire to please Him alone. Learning to stand rightfully strong knowing Who we represent, we faint not even through exhaust but know on Who we can depend. We desire to know more and yet more of Whom resides within and are awed every step of the way...praise our Lord and Saviour, Author and Finisher of our faith. Looking to Him, He will lead us through. We know He is faithful to our soul.

Concerning Mr. Spurgeons statement: "His doctrine is the same in every age." How would he know? Has he lived in every age?

Mr Spurgeon has not, but God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, and does therefore lives in all ages, and the power of the word of God is unchanging and eternal. His doctrine is, indeed, unchanging.

Why do we say muslims are not worshipping our God when here he says that Allah is the Arabic word for God and the Hebrew word is Elohim. As they both have the root El ? This has confused me a bit ....

Elohim is God's generic name. All tribes and languages have a name for god. But our God has a distinct name "Jehovah" in Greek or Yahweh in Hebrew. This distinguishes Him from all other gods as the covenant God. I hope this helps.
