Junny is so smart. I love hearing his story. It is crazy how he ended up where he is. Soundcloud etc. Look where he is now. Life is crazy. Making his dreams come true. Leaving home. His family! Taking his chances. He did it. Made his dreams come true. He can relate to so many artists who did the same thing. They all did that. Warriors! Music! Kpop! New beginnings! New life.

as someone in their mid-twenties and has no idea what the fuck she's doing, this episode was super comforting especially when matt talked about being a trainee at 25 and having a hard time before that. i can relate. thank you as always for your honesty and for keeping it real guys, best podcast i've ever listened to ❤️

Don't worry about leaving your 20's I'm 36 and still feel like I'm 23 at times. Time moves so fast you just have to go with the flow and whats happening. I've settled enough to feel like and 'adult' (stable job and a mortgage) but also still feel free enough as in my 20's to still be open to things that come my way.

Ashley we sad she's 30 in Korean age. Me: Oh I just turned 30 last October 2020 Well my mom was 20 when she had me, and lately I been thinking about the journey of my mom raising us three alone, Me mind blown!! Will I do the same thing? I'm single and by choice! Am I lonely? who doesn't get lonely? Are you lonely cause you are? or got lonely because the people around you keep asking and then you got lonely. That's a whole different thing. Learn who you are and be comfortable with you wanna be. Being lonely, sad, and happy is part of life.

39:47 vulnerability for the sake of friendship is one of the most important parts of adulthood. most people experience reservation with this, so you're definitely not alone here, but it is something you'll have to reckon with eventually, if you hope to be well-adjusted socially. so there are three things to think about: 1) not everyone is a social butterfly, and not everyone will be a completely open book all the time, so you don't need to be either. don't pressure yourself to be more open than you're initially willing to be. the last thing you want to do is stunt your confidence by overexposing yourself. you don't have to break down your own door and let the whole town in. however, 2) as ashley stated in a QnA with joan a couple years ago (the one where they get distracted by the natural lighting outside, and couldn't tell if it was rain or pollution lol) strength of friendship is often dependent on opening yourself to others. as long as you're aware of that, which you seem to be, then your head is in the right place, and you have the foundation to do what's necessary. so my advice to you is, 3) take it at your own pace. open up when you're ready; little by little if you need to. cast the fishing line out a bit and see what bites. if you're not comfortable with that, reel it back in a bit. see what works for you, and eventually you'll know what your limits are. with a little trial and error, you'll be able to throttle yourself up or down such that your comfort level will be compatible with the needs of those around you.

For those commenting their idols: DIVE contacts them as weeks or months before for this podcast, different podcasts episodes could be recorded in a 2 to 3 week then shoot again in another month for not overflowing the scheds of hosts, they guest more of the idols who is having a comeback or just finished a comeback :)

despite developmentally many will find themselves facing so many forms of *perceived* crisis, rather than calling it " quarter life *crisis* ", I hope more people use the term "emerging adulthood", which hopefully would give us much more neutral approach towards our 20s. I just hope more of us in 20s would find relief in the facts that this is indeed a stage where you will be: - *self-focused* (yeah you're not selfish for wanting to focus on self-improvement in many aspects of life) - *facing more opportunities* (generally compared any stage in life span), which also means more uncertainties
