My childhood dreams have come true, I am finally staying at the Nickelodeon Hotel!!!....except I'm a little too late. Once a Holiday Inn and then the famous Nickelodeon Hotel now once again a Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel located on Disney property. In the video I will explain what that means and the benefits you get. I am taking you around the entire resort. I tell you all the benefits you get when you stay here, show you all the amenities like mini golf, the movie theater, the laser challenge, all the dining, and of course the waterpark! I will also you a 2 bedroom suite that sleeps up to 6 people and has bunk beds. As a family of 4 planning a visit later this year, this kind of video is INVALUABLE. Mentioning the free shuttle almost immediately, and then having the little side-screen with an explanation that you need to book it but you get a code to make it free is EXACTLY what I needed to see. The full tour and the map included....oh my goodness, this is the in-depth information that people from outside the US need to see to make informed decisions. Today is the 18th Birthday of the Nickelodeon holiday inn hotel. I remember going to the hotel when I was 8, staying in one of the character rooms Which was Jimmy Neutron and Danny Phantom, when I had saw they had a PlayStation with the TV it was a moment that I will never forget.

Ty for posting! Im an IHG member and booked this for next month. The mixed reviews have me questioning my stay. Truly your review is as I would have expected it to be. You are a great reviewer and love your attention to detail! Im staying in 2 bedroom suite. Doing split stay with all star music suite. Keep these other reviews coming, im watching and wanting them!

I was just there in December for one night after staying at All-Star Movies for a week. Beware that in person this hotel is more run down than it appears on video and in my opinion, is very dirty and needs a deep clean. Our room smelled horrible of mold (our belongs smelled when we left) and was so damp it felt like the sheets and bedding was wet. The couch bed smelled terrible as well, like wet, dirty, dog. I spilled a little water on the floor of the living area of the room and wiped it up to find the floor was absolutely filthy. Had we been staying more than one night I would have been extremely disappointed. The only good thing was the layout of the room and the staff were very friendly.

@@heidiwilson5272 sorry to hear. I was staying 2 nights and i will ensure our room is as clean as can be before staying in it. Im an elite member so ill be a pain. Plus its a slow season so no reason to not have a clean room. Ill stay at hi disney springs next time.

Heidi I’m so sorry you had that experience! While definitely this hotel could use an upgrade/maintenance, I did not have that experience in my room or I would have said so in the video. But thank you for sharing your experience, it’s always great to hear another perspective!

Thank you so much Lori! As I said to Heidi, I did not have those problems in my room otherwise I would have mentioned it. The hotel is definitely dated and needs upgrading. I didn’t spend much time outside my room, but my room was clean.

I stayed there with my family when it was the Nick Hotel back in 2013. It appears to have the same great recreational features as it did when it was the Nick Hotel, but obviously lacks the onsite character visits, which were a nice plus. I recall that the suite was large and a fraction of the cost of a suite at the Art of Animation Resort. Finally, the location is outstanding, basically the closest hotel to WDW, along with the World Center Marriott, at the Epcot Center Drive entrance.

I went there for spring break 2022 and I remember telling one of the slide lifeguards that the place used to be the Nickelodeon hotel. She told me that she went there before it got rebranded. Also one day when it was raining I went outside to the side of the building and saw some Nick characters hidden in the white pieces near the top of the doors

Lol well they wanted to be closer to universal because they had Nickelodeon studios, but this was what was available and ultimately it didn’t work out being so far from universal

Wow, it has changed! Not many people there at all now thats it’s not The Nickelodeon hotel, I took my daughters there when they were younger and it was such a nice experience, we really enjoyed it so much, we took pictures with the characters at breakfast, they had hair braiding and crafts, it was such a fun hotel, pool side water shows and music the girls had a great time, thank you for sharing because I was wondering what happened to that hotel.

Why isn't it not like Santa Claus or something?? Like a Christmas resort would actually thrive. Maybe like Santa's Vacation House by the Holiday Inn? 😂IDK I'm spit balling ideas. Lol

Hershey’s Ice Cream is great. They are pretty big up here in Maine. I never knew until recently that it made it’s way down to Florida.

I stayed there 19 years ago when it was a nick hotel. It was so fun and rhe theming was amazing even in the rooms. It looks really different and boring now.

I clicked on this SO FAST, I can't believe you went to the "Nick Hotel"! I'm freaking out! I was an 80s-90s Nickelodeon kid, and when I got to stay at the Nick Hotel all my childhood nostalgic dreams came true. It had Double Dare, the Nickelodeon time capsule, SpongeBob character breakfast, private slimings ($40), story time with Dora, pizza with the Ninja Turtles, a kid spa, SpongeBob 4D experience, NickToons wallpaper in the suites, Blue's Clues chair, and the mass sliming at the pool. So awesome!!

@@MagicalHijinx I watched it several times each stay, it was the main reason I went to the hotel, but my family was too chicken to audition for it. And this was a February, when no one was there. Our chances were very high we would get picked.

@@bellillechery2761 I'll tell you, the swim play area for the kids was really nice for them, but, the heater in the pool was broken and they weren't excited to fix it(of which they never did) 😒 And, we ended up swimming at the regular pool that was heated(not broken).. the resort is run down. My 4yr old and i were walking past the kids pool to go to the cafe for breakfast and were literally followed (fast) by some punk who had ideas of who knows! Suddenly another family came around the corner, and the punk ran away. So just watch your kids and things. Other then that, the food was ok at the cafe buffet, but the food at the food court was maybe better.. the regular pool was nice but run down. The housekeeping never came. We had to call for them and seek them out for replenishment of regular items. They were supposed to clean every 4th day, that was not the case. Honestly, for the money, you're better off taking your family to Punta Cana for a week. It's much better!

Sup Demi! As someone that grew up in the 80s watching Nickelodeon, It would’ve been awesome to stay there when it was Nickelodeon. However, now that it’s just another Holiday Inn, I think I would pass on it, but it’s still cool knowing what used to be there.

It’s a Holiday Inn, there’s no theme 🤣 but yes they need to update a lot of things and if it did have nice one cohesive theme it would be better. Like a theme you don’t need to license.

I’m afraid not. When they were in the process of ‘de-Nickelodeonizing’ the hotel, the time capsule was dug up and relocated to Nickelodeon’s then new facility in Burbank, CA.

You know thats not a full size kitchen right? I have never seen anyone speak so positively of a horrible resort in buena vista. That place should be shut down and all the resort fee and the parking fee is an extra stab in the back for such a mediocre place to stay. That place makes visitors not wanna come back to disney.

It is the worst hotel, there were cockroaches and the hallway smells very bad, they need to renovate everything, the rooms in front of the pool are a little better👎
