OMG my mom would find big old keys paint and add ribbons and hide around her house then my boys would look for it thinking my mom had special ties to Santa. They would take them home one for front door and one for back door because we didn't have a chimney. Love your idea and I know my mom would say "great minds think alike".

Hi Elysia E., I would love to win an ornament at this point! I love the star and the woodslices you are your Mother in law made! Those were my favorite! Regarding holiday colors. Try Dark purple or sky blue gold silver lilac. Those to are traditionally used colors. Just an FYI. 👍🙃

To get the stickers off the wood, I use a heat gun or hair dryer to make the adhesive liquid again. Then it pulls off super easy!
