Something I suspect: there was a setting designed to keep late game items out of White Palace, but it had a buggy interaction with the grass extension for the randomizer, with the result that white palace grass could not be swapped for grass and had to be something else.

Skur you should do Mushroom randomizer next. Rules are: You have to get the Mr mushroom ending, you have to equip sporeshroom once you have it. Also if you can, randomize the destructible mushrooms to drop stuff same as grass (but don't randomize grass for this run, only mushrooms) and randomize the Mr mushroom locations if possible
