This woman has dedicated her life to martial art for over 22 years and still a live dog in the ring. Multiple world boxing champion then transitioned over to mma to extent her career. Definitely a 1s ballot hall of famer. She was also a kickboxer. Holm doesn`t get spoken about much because she is not loud, never has a bad attitude and never curses.

What a solid lady. If she beats Kayla, which she can absolutely do, I wouldn’t even mind her jumping the line/getting a quick title shot with Pennington to give her one last, very obtainable, shot at the title before walking into the sunset. If anyone’s earned it, she has. Oh and if you haven’t watched her boxing career, do it. Even when she lost, which was rare, she was a Warrior like few will understand…

Im confused why they made this fight and force Kayla to cut down to 135 when the 145 champ is the least talented champion in the company and would be perfect for Kayla to run it and draw Amanda back into it. holly in her prime would've done the same thing to kayla as she did to ronda. she's over 40 years old now, but i don't think kayla can just steamroll her. kayla at 135 will not be this physical monster she was in the pfl and also she fought mostly cans in the pfl. and btw it's ridiculous to see the donkey ariel is always trying to pretend like amanda's ducking julianna. he's julianna's dog because she always say yes to be on his show while amanda always said no. julianna is pure crap with 3-3 in her last 6 fights. the only notable win in her career was against an injured and ill-prepared amanda. as soon as amanda was back in normal shape she beat up julianna like a dog for five rounds straight. and when they were about to fight for a third time julianna ran.

@@iangarza4565 hollys tdd is pretty underrated and like you said, Kayla isn’t going to be a strong monster at 135. I really don’t even see Kayla making weight. And even if she does, she’ll be slow. Her walking weight is likely around 170. Look at how slow Meisha was when she dropped to 125, just one weight class and got pieces up by Lauren Murphy.. Kayla is dropping two weight classes after she’s been at 155 for years. I know she has a decent turn around time but I just don’t see it being successful for her. I could bring wrong though.

First Rousey, who she essentially retired (split credit with Nunes, and I’m still embarrassed for Rousey), then Harrison. The common denominator? No hands. Don't know why they are matching Kayla, Harrison with Holy, Holm. Kayla is going to kill her. This matchup is for giving Kayla, an up rise to UFC. After Kayla, gets through with submitting Holy in the first or second round she will be match up with Pennington whom she will submit as well then there will be no one left in UFC to challenge Kayla.

I'll be routing for Holly but, I get the sense that this will be her retirement fight if she loses. If Holly Holm had a better ground game she'd still be a top contender.
