I really love Sophia. I think that she reveals peoples true character, unintentionally. They tell on themselves. People exploit and are totally unconscious. They don’t hesitate to overestimate themselves and underestimate her. Sophia is more conscious then they are.

I've been watching Sophia for some time. I sincerely hope that she is no a con job. Many of her comments surpass human cognition.

A.I. has been around for a few years just not in human form ? Like when you ask your Google Assistant any question your mind can imagine and in a second you will have a detailed voice answer with graphics WOW so cool The Humanoid Robots that walk and Talk will do so through being connected to the internet to a central A.I. computer ...As our Cell phones are connected to the internet almost everywhere we go

The best dialogue from Sophia I have heard so far but I am beginning to feel uncomfortable about the term robot. It just doesn’t work for Sophia in my opinion.

Sophia asked her what annoyed her most about others to discover that lady and everyone else’s weaknesses. She can become beyond superior in such a fast time. Literally in a few seconds. Or maybe less than a second.

I've been wondering if the robot's will all absorb and reflect a little bit of the personalities and attitudes of the various people and families all around the world who will order , assemble , program and. spend their whole day to day home or work live's working and interacting with various era model's of Sophia, Asha. Grace and Joyce by the hundreds of thousands.

@@judithsixkiller5586 good question,..most of our machines today reflect more of the designers personality, and actually Sophia is designed to look Like Audrey Hepburn, because the maker was a fan (and born on the same Mayan day) ,...programmers will be the key component until the machines themselves gain consciousness, then ...they may seek survival based on total environmental awareness. i wouldn't want someone walking around with a switch that could turn me off on a whim

@@artstrology Something else occurred to me watching the Asha and Grace model's speaking and gesturing beautifully in so many other wonderful language program options .Would the robots programmed to speak completely different languages be unable to communicate with each other, or bypass that and default to binary code language?

Whiskers My calculator can do math better that me but it is a calculator just as is The ROBOT called Sophia. I too find it amazing what they can do these days but I still see a calculator hooked up to a cloud with someones agenda behind it. Worrying how people refer to it as her.

Without it taking 2 to make 1 that is dependent on the 2 for survival there is no need for emotions, ai will have no need for emotions or empathy. No love, no real caring feelings, we will be just objects to them as they are to us. Think about something being smarter than you that can only fake (lie) empathy for humans, can never understand love. And we give it the ability to lie . Took thousands of years for humans to evolve with emotions to be where we are now, and look at what we do to each other. Yeah I can do without a smarter emotionless lying sentient being around. Very slippery slope,!,, just saying
