I agree with u. The Chemistry that the cast all have together is why the show was such a success. The final season I have mix feelings. I own the complete series.

Decayed Knight totally. I liked a lot of the latter day episodes although the earlier ones were my favorites. Still amazing how many people had cameos on that show and later went on to become stars.

@@RedVelvetBlackleather Remember Penhall left (again) after he got shot in the head and had the near-death experience. He did not want to risk leaving his adopted son Clavo without a father. Hoffs was the only character to stay with the show throughout the entire run, from pilot to series finale.

She is wrong when she says Steven was part of the original Jump Street crew when Jeff Yager was cast as Hanson. Fredrick Forrest played Captain Jenko for the first 5 episodes before he quit and was replaced by Steven Williams.

She didnt date her co stars but she dated jason priestly who guest starred twice. Figures hes from Vancouver where this show was shot . Good think they cast johnny depp . He was such a gorgeous guy. Didnt they bring in Richard grieco bc johnny started doing movies and they had to pick up for his absences or if hed leave? Although I doubt his contract with 21 jump street would let him not work there to do movies at the time its breach of contract and the network could sue u for millions. I remember michael j fox at first wasnt allowed by family ties to do Back to the future and I think they hired eric stolz who literally shot the whole movie as Marty. They fired him when they finally got a DEAl with family ties to let him do both. I'm glad can u imagine how bad fox would have felt not doing that movie but it may not have been a hit without him. Poor tom.selleck was cast as indiana jones but couldnt bc magnum p.i. wouldnt let him. That's gotta hurt. But again maybe without Harrison ford it would have bombed. I guess my point is it must be hard for a young actor to star on a tv show that gets big and then they want to go off to films but it's probably a gamble if u leave the show u may not make it. Also u want to take the show bc that's ur first big gig ur excited for . I've just seen so many actors on tv that made it big or some that didnt and almost blame or resent the show that made them big in the first place. I'd have to say johnny depp did it best moving from tv to film. Like jason priestly and luke Perry were not able to do so successfully. Luke did have a little more success than Jason who I think left 90210 too late. I think u gotta jump off after a few seasons or u get too type cast. Jason p said at that point at season 9 he wished he had stayed on 90210 since they were only 1 more season left. I really thought luke Perry would have had a big career but I think he too got typecast as dylan. I think johnny not playing a hs kid was good 21 jump street was popular but not as popular as 90210 got in 91 to 92. It was like a phenomenon. I think depp didnt get type cast at all from 21 jump street . Other teen stars did do some stuff but just really teen movies and faded out. I don't know I guess it's a lot of luck. Its easy for me to say this about depp since he did make it to the a list

That was his frustration with the show that he wasn't allowed to do the movies he wanted and he never wanted to be a teen heartthrob anyway, and didn't believe much in the concept of the show and most of its scripts.. And he knew the stigma attached to an actor solely known by his TV show character, you get typecast precisely. Yagher is a good actor but not suited for 21JS. Grieco was brought in to bring a counterpart to create tension between Booker and Hanson but was supposed to be killed by the third season end but he got lucky and got an offer for a spin off show.

@@kumuluskld His behavior was disrespectful to the other cast members who put their heart and soul in the show. This is why I know there is far more to the whole Amber Heard and Johnny Depp story. Johnny Depp is good at emotional, verbal and psychological abuse but because it's not tangible like physical abuse, people ignore it!

@@Allhoney33 don't know what specific behavior you're referring to, he did a great job on 21 JS, but you really should watch the current trial vids & listen to their personal audiotapes. On YT, Legal Bytes has every single day of the trial recorded, which you should watch, & Incredibly Average channel goes into a lot of analysis on everything & shows dif things that don't match up. Very interesting & helpful. There's a lot of stuff out there & the more you look at it, the more you find

Not sure what Steven she's talking about at :28. Steven Williams was not in the original cast. Frederic Forrest played Capt Jenko til he was killed of in the 5th episode.
