Thanks Goat for putting this series together. Fantastic sights, and by all measures a great southern jet boating adventure with a bunch of mates. More importantly though its been very educational. We have owned our Extreme 47 for just less than a year, and after the issues the guys had with their pumps I looked up the jet pump manufacturer's web site. They recommend an annual strip, inspection of the bearing and seals and assemble of the jet pump, and their list of recommended spares includes the impeller key, some nut retainers etc etc. I now know what maintenance I am doing before the boat turns one, as the boat itself appears indestructible!!!

Love the water and the land you guys explore. I like the inflatable jet boat outboard setup. You don't see them here in Canada much. I had a zodiac with a Mercury 60/40 jet pump and it worked ok now I have a 16 foot aluminum with a 150 mercury outboard jet pump. Can the inflatable go as good as your mini jet boat did? Love your adventures !

The inflatable - this one especially -goes way better .Before I would get so far upstream in the mini jet and the boulders/lack of water would be the issue, now I can go the last 10% with no damage to the hull or unit , for exploring these inflatables have been a real game changer for me , so much so that Ive sold all the mini boats and the parts in the shed .If you want your unit to last throw away the aluminiun foot and get a plastic one for it, nearly unbreakable. absolutely fantastic!!!!!👍👍👍👍 did both boats go up the rapid? were you the first??? you really had a ball, would be hard to beat anywhere else in NZ I would guess ... have great admiration for your skills in all you do - long may it continue

yes both boats went up the rapid, took mine up first then walked back down the track to take the next boat up , a lot easier to do when I knew which lines to take, thanks for watching

Its a completely different design to the solar , a much better shape underneath. Same 50hp motor that was on the solar so its quite easy to just compare the hulls differences, this one steers and rides in the water way better than the solar, Im going to do a few more trips in it then do a reveiw , thanks for watching
