Speaking as a former suffer of an eating disorder... They really have done an incredible job... Showing the emotional struggles of the suffer and the relatives... It's so important for both to get help and support. Its such a destructive thing when it's at its peak and heartbreaking for the people close to the person who has the eating disorder. Xx

Poor Cleo I really do feel for her and I can't believe Joel's seeing Pete well I hope that Joel gets some answers and Cleo seriously needs to accept help.

I work in mental heath and it heart breaking how true it is with how she acting about the drip and wanting to go for a run. I am glad hollyoaks is doing this story line as its something that happens all around us but not many people can see it. Hopefully it will help people to come forward and get the help they need.

Cleo isn't well at all. As for Joel, he may seem a bit off, but this is affecting him too, he loves her dearly, and watching her almost die has alarmed him.

Cleo should be admitted to a mental health unit like Sienna was so that the nurses and doctors can stop her from exercising and starving herself. She'll end up forced fed like I did when I was depressed in 2014. I had my heart broken from an unrequited aka one-sided love and I started to find ways to harm myself and I was living in 24 assisted living and the staff stopped me from hurting myself so I said "Right, well then I'm going to not eat then" and BOOM, I was forced to eat. They said if I didn't do it, I'd have the food painfully inserted into my nose and throat and that I wouldn't like it and I had my bowl and plates checked and they checked my room and the bins.

I've always loved when hollyoaks did special episodes to raise awareness on serious topics. But this episode for Cleos storyline, I related so much and it hit home. Everything Cleo was doing, over exercising, checking her weight and keeping a diary of how many calories she consumed that day and how much she weighs, not eating or binge on food and then purging, hideing sore spots on her hands from where her teeth have grinded or bit into the skin on her hand while she's purging.... Was exactly me a few months ago, I've not purged since July, I'm getting help. It was Cleos start of her ED storyline that made me realise I needed help. If I didn't watch hollyoaks and see the start of Cleos eating disorder behaviours starting to show, I could possibly be in the same situation right now, or even dead. It was very emotional to watch that episode but I love that how realistic it was, they captured someone suffering from an eating disorder very well. Hope the girl who plays Cleo will be in the run for a soap award this year, I'll definitely be voting for her. She did an amazing job at portraying someone with an eating disorder. 💕💕💕💕

god bless cleo she is such a brilliant,beautiful and amazing person inside and out i really took all that in and thought the storyline was so true and it sends such an important message out to everyone about the serious illness and a top realistic story that made my heart beat and many tears shed xxxxxx love to all xxx

I didn't at first... But my family noticed and yeh... My dad especially was heartbroken... Watching me waste away n cry about eating anything... But I'm healthy and happy now.. Took a long time... But I got there... And I have to thank my family n counsellors who helped...i personally couldn't have done it alone xxxx

To this day that “I should have been exchanging my vows but paramedics etc” line pisses me off so bad he shouldn’t be trying to make it about him I understand he deserves a good wedding just like her but like he said SHE ALMOST DIED show some compassion

I'm going to an eating disorder clinic tomorrow to get help. It's a two week period to begin with but can be extended. Wish me luck! I wanna get better so bad and this scene really hit home.
