Great guest, Heather!! I LOVE Megan!! The word iconic is overused, but it totally applies to her with how she crafted "Karen" and made her one of the best sit-com characters of all time. Back when she had her own talk show, she had Merv Griffin on as a guest, and she sang a duet with him, and I remember being blown away by how stunning her voice was.

Heather is so right on the childless thing! I always thought it was sad if people didn’t have kids. After I had kids I realized how tough it was and if you don’t want kids it is best not to have them. You need to want them to get through those tough times!!! Best to know yourself and do what is best for you.

Yes. I was like Heather…wanted a baby since I was 3 yrs.old, so I would have never been happy without one. I thoroughly enjoyed them when they were young even though I became single when my youngest was 6mos old. I had to go to work and never got any child support, so it was very hard money wise. Then when they were teenagers it was awful! It ruined my health permanently. I have one granddaughter that says she doesn’t want children and I support her.

I never wanted kids until I ended up pregnant at 35 years old. Now for me it's the best thing. I would have probably been perfectly happy to never have children but faced with the situation I knew I wanted to keep her. So my point is that you can't always plan for everything and it's okay to embrace something if it happens even if you didn't think you wanted it and it's also okay to not

You and Megan are great together. 🥰 Totally relate to Megan saying she did not have an organic burning desire to have children. There are a lot of people are ok with children when they are under 5 but didnt think about life beyond that. Also they had kids so they coukdbe loved. So manyno so great motivations for having children. We need a license for a dog but anyone can have children 😂

This was my all time favourite back in the day & still is. That and The Nanny. I still watch it now 20+ plus years later. Will & Grace was cut too short 😕 Disappointing to have to wait 20 years later to see these beautiful characters come to life again on screen! Loved this so much. Heather you always ask questions that make me want to find the answers for!!! "Soap" was actually the working title for the show, while the producers tried to come up with a better name, and was used all through pre-production. No better name was ever decided upon, so "Soap" became the formal title when the show went into production. Source: IMDB. What a great show. Loved your story about your son and you worrying he was dead....I don't have kids but I jump to that conclusion too about friends and loved ones like my nieces.

This is the first time I've listened to Megan being interviewed, and she seems authentic and down to earth. Love Megan, wish the interview was just a bit more centered on her, but she's lovely and she was brilliant as Karen Walker. If i could i would thank her for how Karen still makes me laugh after all these years, such an iconic character with timeless classic and just the right amount of outrageous humor. I agree tho Pam Anderson deserves the kind of acting comeback Heather Locklear had a few years ago and just be a part of a big project with some juicy role that will showcase everything we love about her.

Yes! Heather I also had a major desire to be a mom. So much so, that when my friend told me she didn’t envision her self being a mom I couldn’t understand. 😳 this was a couple years ago, but it’s very fascinating how we as women don’t all have that urge. Good topic!

Your thinking that all women highly desire to reproduce is also highly influenced by patriarchal thinking that motherhood is all women should want, at least “good” women anyway. Sheesh. Get over it. The majority of what any human desires is fundamentally based on nurture, nit nature. We don’t live such primal lives any more. Humans’ most primal urge us to maintain their own life. 😮OMG, my forever favorite actress Megan. Will&Grace my #1 all time favorite show of all time. I watch it everyday if I can. Megan should have won an Emmy every year! My 35yr old son didn't call me otw hm from his job last eve. He lives with his fiancée. Within 15min I was worried he was dead in a ditch. His commute is quite long. Heather he's my only kid. The worring never ends. I have aged so much losing 35yrs to daily worring. The only thing I knew for sure in life was that I wanted a child. I almost told my childless bff for decades who never wanted kids " Girl u were so ahead of the times." She has a fabulous life. But, my Catholic guilt stopped me from even uttering those words. My son is my gift from above❤ The greatest love, the worst pain. Of course I'd do it again. Thank God I only had 1. I wanted 6 🤯. I would b dead today. Now I am pressured to eat right, Exercise, & stay alive...for him. A lot of wk. Best show ever. Super A list guest! Love Nick too❤
