"Micro aggression" is my new favourite term. "You're doing something wrong, you just don't know it.... oh but don't worry, I'll let you know how I'm offended." Talk about brittle. It has nothing to do with "solving racism" but everything to do with perpetuating a movement (and the money that comes with it) that has no solid ground to stand on.

"Micro aggression" is an ill-spirited term designed to turn misunderstandings into something very harmful. That's why they use a violent term such as "aggression". The change reality and to make things way worse than they are so they can play the victim. Is an "adult" way of being a bully.

i grew up poor white trash in predominantly Black neighborhoods and schools, if people wanted to play those games there are PLENTY of basic simple things that are said or done in inner city or hood culture or whatever term you want to use. if microaggressions are a real thing it is NOT a one way street. that's what irritates me about this kind of BS.
@mikael.wilhelm
@mikael.wilhelm 2 ай бұрын
@@georgezee5173 It's actually even more ill-spirited than that. It's not just misunderstandings that get branded as "micro aggression", but also simply moving out of the way of crazy people to avoid conflict, out of a live-and-let-live mindset. The only thing that isn't "micro aggression" is active submission to their every demand, while groveling on the ground before their unlimited and unquestionable power. This movement isn't about race or gender or sexual orientation, or anything else they use as a cover story. It's about an ongoing communist takeover. The people behind this movement are EVIL, and when this kind of people take over, genocide soon follows. About 150 million people were killed by them in the last century, it would be wise to not let them take over the US today, or another 100 million will be added to the number.

@bengordon4690 The thing with movies like White Chicks is, they were played for absurdity and not meant to relate to anything in real life. They were stupidity for the sake of comedy. This movie, however, thinks of itself as satire, like it has any basis in reality. Same with the Barbie movie. Hollywood lives in its gated-off bubble of sheer delusion and social media, then wonders why it's losing billions of dollars and everyone wanted them to permanently stay on strike. But yeah, this being a 1999 Wayans Brothers movies played for laughs could've worked. Because everyone watching it would know not to take it seriously.

They engineer new vocabulary to use so things look out of proportion and extremely bad. I don't know in the US, but in my country, Spain, feminists started to talk about our "culture of r4pe" a few years ago. They try super hard to make reality look as if women were getting r4ped or abus3d every day around here, when in actually our country is one of the safest for women in the whole world and feminism has always being super strong, with most men supporting women and having their share in raising their children and taking care of the house (I still remember this Lithuanian girl that moved in our flat that was super confused at the fact that Spanish men did so many "women's things", as opposed to what she would expect in her country).

The truth is, when you cut through all the crap politics, bad faith, and pseudo intellectuals you find the truth of the matter. It is not about equality or progress or righting wrongs. It is 100% about power; who wields it and how and over who. I’ve listened to enough lectures, Ted talks, interviews to find the common underlying denominator is power. The fetishizing of victimhood isn’t about fixing anything it’s about abusing it as a means to control others. Did you speak out of turn while a woman is present? Sexism. Did you fail to acknowledge the black man in the room? Racism. Did you show up to work on time? White supremacy. The only way to win the game is to not play their’s and recognize what it is.

Being a brown man born and raised in the UK, the only racism I'd ever experienced actually came from other minorities and that was during my teen-age years where they were just jokes or everyone just saying wild shit to get at each other. They need to grow a spine and get thicker skin. Edit: I realise that I used the UK experience when this is based on the US experience of racism but after talking to my American friends about this topic, some being minorities themselves, the experiences were very similar.

He told me he could only go home to see his mother late at night because if his old high school friends saw him they would beat the carp out of him for 'being too white'. It's not an excuse for their poor behaviour or attitude towards others but I know how it came to be is all I'm saying. Also American football is armoured rugby. The difference this time, is that the hate propaganda paints the majority population as evil. Minority populations may eat it up to some extent, but they're not in a position to genocide the majority. It's the inevitable _backlash_ that is going to be dangerous. When the majority population gets sick of being painted as evil and notice that crime statistics actually say it's actually the minority that is causing the most trouble, then they'll look for a Strong Man who can Restore Order. Fun times ensue...

I'm a 37 year old black guy who grew up in the worst part of West Philadelphia and I've literally never experienced any major or widespread racism in my life until 2015 or so, and it all came from the liberal left. There were maybe a handful of incidences in my life and I knew all of them came from a**holes and not actual "racists." I grew up with shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Martin, Moesha, The Wayans Brothers, Sister Sister, The Boondocks, etc., and knew people of all races who watched them. I lived in a poor area that was predominantly black, but had white girls and Hispanics in it as well, and literally _no one_ cared about race (if anything, it was a class bias that people grew up with; as in, they didn't trust _rich people_ no matter what race they were.) If someone can't figure out all of this woke BS Culture War crap is 100% socially engineered by entities like Blackrock and Disney, then they're too stupid for me to take seriously about _any_ social or political issue. This BS has been going on for literally nine years, at this point.

Race has nothing to do with the message of the movie, it's about making the world submit to the whims of the extreme left. It wants all of us on our knees, whimpering before the absolute power of our overlords. It borders on being a student film. I think they got some funding or grants via Sundance and then a major studio released this (with their names attached). So the weird detail here, is that it sounded slightly like he was funded in this thing and facilitated in making an ass of himself by affirmative action and white guilt. If it's a bad film (or just not commercially viable), it could have been nixed when the idea was pitched, when the screenplay was written, or when the completed film was ready. There a probably hundreds of better films sitting in vaults because they were too mediocre to see the light of day. If a white person had written a script that was two ideas that didn't mesh (political critique, romcom), they might have been told "No". But if someone with a similar script is told "Yes! you're doing so well", then maybe the racism in play isn't where you thought it was. The insanity of this turkey is that unless people smile on it, they risk being accused of 'white fragility'. Being miffed gets to be evidence in support of Robin D'angelo continuing to have a career.

You see, there is this very old and very racist idea called the "one drop rule" which states that only a 100 % white person is considered white. Even the slightest admixture with blacks was considered akin to adding piss to beer. It may still _look_ like beer, but you wouldn't want to drink it. Amusingly, this rather outdated idea has been enthusiastically adopted by commies who seek to overthrow Western societies in the name of "racial equality". They declare all mixed-race people to be "black", or if that just won't fly because there's so little black in them, well then they're "people of color". Even the slightest admixture of anything non-white makes an overwhelmingly white person "black". The obvious reason for throwing the net so wide, is because they seek to rally as many troops as possible for the communist revolution.

I am a social worker and I encountered several cases where woman got provably raped by a black man (DNA) and refused to identify him because she was either afraid to be seen as a racist or what his friends might do to her family. Two of them insisted it was a white man despite the evidence. Now, that's an actual true story with a similar concept. I would get crucified if I made an honest movie about that. They made a Special Victims Unit episode about a case like that recently. They spent most of it giving speeches about structural racism and ended it with a scene where they tried to make you feel bad for the poor rapist not getting attractive white female attention and acting out of desperation.

That reminds me of the case with Jeffrey Lynn Miller attacking and attempted rape of a Circle K clerk. The victim ("bxchimacow") almost didn't call the police for no other reason than the attacker was black. There's nothing these girl's assailants could have done to them physically that's worse than what's already been done to them mentally by this Anti White system. It is malicious conditioning, 24/7 gaslighting and fear of being labelled "Racist™" intended not just to instill self-hatred at a young age in Whites, but to override both individual and societal self-preservation instincts. We shouldn't have to live like this.

Seems like the social engineering is working as intended. The POINT of planting seeds of self hatred and a feeling of powerlessness in white people, is to make us too afraid to resist the ongoing power grab. There is a tiny "elite" that is in the process of securing absolute power over the entire planet forever, and they do not wish to be disturbed until they've finished putting a digital yoke around all our necks (I say that as an allegory for a chip in our heads).

Excellent video as always! I do think the issue of race in the Civil War is a lot more nuanced. If you asked any soldier or officer of the US Army in 1862 if they were fighting to abolish slavery, they'd have laughed at you. The notion of abolition really only took off in 1863, and even then slowly. Gen. McClellan, among other officers, really hated the idea that they were fighting for slaves, so much so he ran as a Democrat against Lincoln in 1864 on a platform not strictly opposed to just making peace with the Confederates. Lincoln himself made innumerable compromises to keep the remaining half of the Union intact, including juking the slavery issue, so he didn't face the secession of Kentucky, Missouri, and the other border states. Then there's the politicking around the 13th Amendment, the fights over raising African-American infantry units in the US and even among the rebels as they grew desperate, so on. It's deeply interesting and one of the handful of times in US history where you can really see society changing on a vast scale relatively rapidly.

The thing that made me decide i was never going to watch this movie was how the character at one point in the trailer says his "whole life has revolved around making white people comfortable" or something to that effect and David Allen Grier's character saying "bad things happen if white people are uncomfortable". and yet who are the people who riot and loot entire towns or parts of cities in protest of things they dont like? if his whole life revolves around making white folks comfortable why is it in todays woke dei society white people are the ones who have to walk around on eggshells or face "cancellation"? we can be called all sorts of racist terms like "bleach demons" or have all sorts of racist opinions thrown our way on social media without any of the people doing it facing any sort of consequence but if one white person had to do the reverse they would be doxxed and arrested for hate speech. but your life is about making another race feel comfortable?

So let me get this straight. A film, clearly intended to make white people uncomfortable, is about how black people need to make white people comfortable to avoid racism, and concludes it's main character's arc with the announcement that he won't be making white people comfortable anymore, ---- accept that said announcement comes at the end of the very film intended to make white people uncomfortable? I'd say this film's very premise was about to disappear into a black hole, accept that using words like "black hole", now makes me uncomfortable!

Yep. A black man kidnaps another black man and forces him to do a job he doesn't want to do for white men. It's the slave trade all over again.

Don't worry. In theoretical physics there exists also a white hole and as one might expect, it does the opposite of what black holes do. Neither is good or bad, it's just terms that describe phenomenon. No need to be uncomfortable 😉

@@theinnerlight8016 "white holes?" How physicist of you! Don't you know you cannot be physicist towards a white hole? Only black holes, because black hole light theory matters!

When I first heard about this movie, I genuinely thought it was a parody but my god I’m lost for words. This is pure disgusting. And I’m not even white.
