This was my first BIG roller coaster. I have always been scared of going on them, but my dad loves them. So he told me to get over my fear and go on it, and I loved it. Now I LOVE roller coasters and wanna go on all of them!!

I had a dream about being on this rollercoaster last night because I’d already been on it. My brain was really active bc I was exited that we were going there soon. My brain pictured together multiple scenes to make it feel realistic to me. I could also feel the force of the roller coaster 😅

i just rode this today and it’s the most fun i’ve had in years! it didn’t feel rushed at all and the drops are just so much fun!!! you have to remember to stay relaxed because otherwise the ride jerks you around but i loved this coaster because i could actually think and feel during the entire thing! i wasn’t scared about to pass out haha… totally recommend choosing “i will survive” btw

They just need to turn down the brakes. Like it’s fine that it has a million MCBRs, but it doesn’t need to slow down to a crawl at every one of them.

I just rode this ride, and I liked it. I’ve only been in a few big coasters and this one is so rough that my neck started hurting afterwards. I recommend it but only if you have a high pain tolerance.

I went in March 2023. It was my first time since 2015 since I visited the states as a ten year old. Back then my screen didn’t work when I first got on but I remember my dad getting on saying there wasn’t a lot to choose from so he picked Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer. When I went back this year I made it a mission to get the speaker blasting with rock. I clicked the category and Gimme All your Loving was there and it felt like a match made in heaven. Never clicked on a song faster 😂

One of the best concepts for any roller coater. I wish the secret tracks were more easily accessible. Regardless, trying this ride with 50 different songs changes the entire experience each time.

I’ve only been on this coaster twice and my second time reminded me why I didn’t do it again. It’s super rough, like giving me a mild headache rough. If it wasn’t rough I’d go on it more often.

My whole life I was so scared to go on roller coasters and I have a fear of throw up. This ride was AWESOME. It was so worth it I wanted to ride it again. I almost backed out last second because I have a fear of heights but I'm so glad I didn't I wasn't scared one bit DO THIS!!!

I completely regret not riding this one!!! It was closed because of stormy weather, but late in the night it opened, but my family prefered staying a little bit more in Diagon Alley. Now I'm expecting to have another opportunity to do it

I rode this with my gf this spring. She chose Hella Good by No Doubt and I can assure you, she was feeling the total opposite thinking she was about to fall out…didn’t have any problems with all of the other coasters but the fear got to her on this one! Meanwhile I’m raging my ass off to Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin”, the perfect choice if you ask me. We both survived that day and I 10/10 would do again and again.

Lol, love the ride, love all the songs, ESPECIALLY the songs on the SECRET SONG LIST on the ride (if you don't know how to access this, you need to hold down the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit button for 7 seconds on the console and then the screen becomes a keypad; ask any Team Member for the current and up-to-date list of the hidden songs available and type that code in to listen to it; note, you won't have a video playback if you do this though), and my go to song is "Kickstart My Heart" by Motley Crue. The song is perfect for the ride!

Went on this back in April 2023, the music kept malfunctioning quite often so I only got to ride it once. I do have to say, I went on it with my sister and we had the best time of our lives, velocicoaster was definitely our favorite out of all the coasters there. I’m in Orlando at the minute for Halloween. Before coming I had never even been on a rollercoaster and this was my second ever one. For everyone scared to go on the rides. I was shitting it. But it is what it is. You’re not Gona die and the feeling is great. This ride isn’t bad at all. (This was the best one I’ve been on)

This is some really old footage, probably dating from around 2011. At 0:23 as the coaster goes down that (very ugly) first drop, Dueling Dragons (closed in 2017) and Twister: Ride it Out (closed in 2015) are visible on the left and right respectively. Next, at 0:45 as the train is about to drop through the Ghostbusters Spooktacular facade, the Amity section of the park (home to JAWS: The Ride, closed in 2012) is faintly visible on the right in the far distance. Then at 1:13 the Classic Monsters Cafe and Shrek 4-D (closed in 2022) can be seen as the train passes the stage. Finally, as the train enters the brake run at 1:46, Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast (closed later that year) can be seen on the right and Nickelodeon Studios is still in its early Blue Man Group colours (repainted in 2013, closed in 2021.)

Universal needs to give this ride some love. I know they just redid the mummy and they redid the hulk a few years back. This ride needs it next. It’s such an iconic coaster that looks beautiful across the resort. Just so rough over the years which is a shame. Some new track, maybe even some new trains and definitely a revamped music catalog would rocket (no pun intended) this back to the top ride in the park

This thing should be named Rip Your Red Rocket! I just went on this and I have to say I’m thankful that I already fathered my children. The restraint system along with how rough the ride was made it the most painful coaster I’ve ever been on. I may well have just put my nuts in a vice!

I think they should add a few more songs to Rip Ride Rockit. Here are my ten suggestions: 1. Good Mood (Adam Levine, PAW Patrol: The Movie, 801) 2. Walk Don’t Rango (Rango, 802) 3. Goofy Goober Rock (SpongeBob Movie, 803) 4. All Star (Shrek, 804) 5. I’m a believer (Shrek, 805) 6. Heathens (21 Pilots, Suicide Squad, 806) 7. Bad Reputation (Shrek, 807) 8. Accidentally In Love (Shrek 2, 808) 9. Speed Me Up (Sonic The Hedgehog, 809) 10. Stars in the Sky (Sonic The Hedgehog 2, 810)

Don’t get me wrong, this ride is great. But I just have to appreciate that I grew in between Kings Island and Cedar Point. I see everyone commenting how this was their first big coaster and how insane this is when it’s kind of mild compared to an amusement parks rides.

Had to play music here with my school band this last week, I remember walking through the backstage area with my Tenor Drums and looking up at 1:12 and seeing all the people, crazy
