At first I thought this WAS Nightbird, RIP. Def going to watch this with my daughters.

It does. Stargirl moved away at the end of the first one, and we get to see where she moved to and her journey since then.

@Jeff_W True enough. And while you're right about the label for THIS film, the original is an MPDG stereotype, making THIS... Yep. The Manic Pixie Dream Sequel. I hope it actually bucks the label, but honestly I just came to throw tomatoes.

Grace was never emo. Everyone flipped out though just because she decided she wanted to buzz her hair and play with her makeup while she was bored at home.

Every great modern day classic didn't do well at the box office maybe because of the trailer, it's a teen movie and you ain't no teen. Who did you vote for on AGT, Sal?
