I must admit that the first song I heard from HU was "Black Dahlia" and I so totally fell in Love with it and the kind of music the band is doing, that till today I have bought all of their albums, because they are so awesome doing just THEIR way of music. And also the 3rd Album is a really great one, with so many touching and true songs in it... Go on! you guys rock ;D

The book "Notes From Underground" explains cruelty from society and the psychological effects of young people. The album "Notes From The Underground" (was explained) to be about misled and disenfranchised youth.

HU you will always and forever have a fan in me. Loved Dead Bite right off the bat and I'm really getting into We Are also. Honestly I think We Are has some of the best lyrics you've written. Can't wait till Jan 8th.

Hi's voice has that graspy tone in it and that does the trick. I would love if I had that kind of voice.

LMFAO at the whole "screaming" convo here. They all do screams, yes even Funny Man sometimes. I've spent WAAAAAY too much time watching concerts and listening on my phone/ipod/ cds and they all at one time or another have done screams. Yes on the albums its mostly Da Kurlzz and it did used to be Deuce but now its anyone else that wants to I guess. I can't wait to hear Danny start screaming that's for sure. I don't know if you've heard his band back in the day but look it up. Lorene Drive I think

The Natives was originally done by Shady Jeff untill he got kicked...Deuce does very little screaming but still does the very rare scream...Johnny3Tears does the occasional screams like in Sell Your Soul and Paradise Lost

Da Kurlzz AND J3T scream in Paradise Lost... J3T:Burn Kurlzz:Now J3T:Burn Deuce:Just let me burn Kurlzz:Now J3T:Brun J3T and Da Kurlzz:Burn and Da Kurlzz is the one credited for doing the "Undead Revolution 1 2 3 Go" in the new version of The Natives...and yes I did know that Shady did do the original screaming for the band...just like how he was the original one to use a bandana as his mask...back when J3T was still called The Server...when the first video for No.5 came out

can someone explain to me why its called "Notes From the Underground"? i know there was a book called "Notes from the underground" or "letters from the Underworld" or somthin, just confused why they chose that name.

There are no vocal credits for The Natives. And why are you arguing this? Da Kurlzz doesn't scream in any Studio song. He does some screaming live, but then again, all of them do. J3T and Deuce are the only vocalists on Paradise Lost. Listen to Deuces solo songs where he screams and compare them to "Now" in Paradise Lost and a few other songs. You'll notice little to no difference.

yea while i give you that. my point is that theyre not a band like most of todays music thats the whole point to their songs is just yea fuck bitches have sex smoke weed and party. a lot of their songs actually tell a story and have meaning

No no no. You have it all wrong. Since the only screaming he's ever done was that 4 seconds in No.5. The majority of the screaming was done by J-Dog and Deuce. I listen to a lot of Metalcore, so screamed vocals are my passion and I recognise good screams when I hear them (Craig Mabbitt, Tim Lambesis are my favourites).

You must just not like screaming, cuz he's an amazing screamer. But if you dont like those kind of vocals, youre not going to like it, whether he's good at it or not. Honestly I dont think HU would have appealed to me as much as it did without Matt's few vocals.

Umm, no. Kurlzz does most of the screaming (Knife Called Lust, The Natives, City, are just off the top of my head) and J-Dog and Charlie do some screaming every once in a while. Deuce NEVER screamed. I also listen to a lot of metalcore, that's all I listen to, and I believe that I recognize good screams and dirty vocals - Danny Worsnop, Corey Taylor being my favorites, Craig Mabbitt being my very very least favorite, next to Deuce and Justin Bieber.

With the exception that Deuce is talking a lot of shit about HU his music is actually really passionate, well the actual songs anyway. His party songs I will give you are total crap, but they are fun to listen to if you're in a weird, creepy, party kinda mood. Hopefully his next album he will focus more on the success he has gotten off this last one and you will maybe not hate him AS much lol.
