When I tell people I like Hollywood Undead, they instantly think of all the party songs, such as Everywhere I Go, Pigskin, etc. I wish I could speak in links so they could see songs like this, Rain, Sing, stuff like that, and just see that they aren't just another group of party rockers, but an actual, legitimate, deep-thinking band with a decent following of loyal listeners. Oh well.

The beginning and ending segments of this song never fail to give me chills. The way it starts with just the guitar, then adds more instrumentals as the verse progresses sounds incredible. Then at the end, it reverses, starting with all of the instrumental parts and gradually taking them away until we’re left with only the guitar that we started with. Little touches like that really set Hollywood Undead apart from other bands. Their songs feel so much more immersive and layered, and I just love it.

Every time I listen to this my heart hurts just a little bit more for Johnny.

I was 12 when I first found Hollywood Undead and 14 when I finally found this song. I haven't listened to it in years. I'm 20 now and here I am, honestly crying over this because it always said the words that I wanted to. Back then I didn't have good friends, music was all I had, and I was struggling with mental issues I never even understood. Now I'm all grown up, unmasking my neurodivergency, learning to deal with my BPD and PTSD as well as my anxiety, OCD, and social anxiety. I've been through a lot since then, but I've found good friends and soon I'll be away from the home that brought me so much misery. I searched for this song over the last few years, unable to remember the words or the name. Going through Hollywood Undead to share songs with my friend and I finally found it. No matter how much time passes, I'll always love HU.

We are using this for my cousins funeral. He went through so much. All my family. family abandoned him for shooting his dad in self-defense he was also on so many drugs and suicidal. But I LOVED HIM. I forgave him.

J3T deserves way more recognition. There’s only a few rappers I can think of whose lyrics have made me stop to think about in depth, and he’s one of them.

I found out about HU while I was 11-12. Not a good age to listen to music with this kind of lyrics. Even though I didn't understand most of it, some of their songs were HEAVY even at that age. But as a young adult now after 10 years, I think their songs are what planted the seed of desire of freedom, and the will to question most things.
