In old interviews it seemed Johnny hated Deuce with all of his guts. I like in this interview he can actually talk about him like he's an old friend, which is what I wished they still were. Imagine where HU would be today if they had Shady Jeff, Deuce, and Danny all at once.

Speaking of Wikipedia and Hollywood Undead... Why do none of the members have their own Wikipedia pages? There are bands that are far less popular with Wikipedia pages for all of their members. Somebody should make Wikipedia pages for J3T, Charlie Scene, and the others.

I still fuckin love HU and always have since it started. Even as my musical taste changes and evolves, I still find myself coming back to listen to Swan Songs, the old EP, and random demos... it brings back the nostalgic feels of being in high school. The new album is fantastic, btw.

j3t is the nicest and most down to earth member, in my opinion. i waited after one of their concerts in nashville & he stayed to talk with me & my friend longer (and more in depth) than anyone else. he even gave me a hug for our picture together and it's still one of my favorite pics of me ever. everyone told me how happy and genuine my smile was in that photo. i had so much fun that night. funny man went straight into the trailer after signing my friends shirt and getting a picture with her, but he wouldnt do anything with me (i still don't know why to this day - i was so in love with that band i would never do anything to put them off)

I met them before. Well, only funny man & da kurlz. Wever he called himself. Actually, I think prob ppl have more luck meeting celebrities online. If it's direct or maybe they even make fake accounts 🤷. Bc I guess I've talked to CharlieS. too. Over something stupid. I didn't realize ppl looked at the most searched things, & everyone saw the same things :/. I didn't get online till like late, k:/? I guess I was wondering if 1 of my searches came up & he somehow knew :/. But he... Was like huh? I prob phrased it funny. Maybe I felt stupid so I told just randomly told him I was pregnant & called him an asshole 🤷. He said some sh about me bending over. & I left it at that. Never bothered w/ that profile again. But that profile stays roasting ppl. Ppl have stolen my images & used me as catfish's since, so I don't really bother w/ fb anymore. Plus, I forgot my p.word. that was some yrs back. In person funny man does seem kinda swift. But like short & sweet. He called me baby. I'm actually older than him. It's da kurlz that seem like he'd be more chatty but more likely to be on edge 🤔🤷. There was this female crying & some other dude who was really hype to see them. I guess maybe a big fan bc they knew him by his name. So Idk. It's not like I have much to say anyway. I was w/ a older male friend. That's prob off putting. But legit he was just a friend. I don't steady chill w/ ppl who creep me out. Plus, he's just tall. So sometimes I like ppl around so other ppl don't f w/ me as much. I'm short af. My own kid's my height. But I think I was bugging him to hold this paper w/ their autographs. just so I could be annoying. Just to say syke. Something like that. & I think I caught da kurlz being humored off in the distance. When I didn't think he was watching me. I prob hugged the paper & winked & pointed at the paper too. Ok I did. But I was just being stupid. & Then I guess I caught another dude from some other band kinda hidden, behind buses, waving, smiling. I looked behind me & was like oh, I guess that's for me. I waved back. Have no clue what the other band was. Or if that dude was even in a band. But he looked like it. It'd bug me some if I did meet celebrities I like, & they were straight up jerks. But I wouldn't really bother to take up their time either. I'm not really big on ass kissing. It's just ," can I have ur autograph. K thx." I'd hafta feel more comfortable w/ them for me to keep talking ( so maybe on rare occasion if we knew ppl in common) or like where I knew they weren't in a rush & I wasn't taking up their time. 😔 I don't get celebrity fascination either.... But at least music world's an escape. At a nice comfortable distance. That doesn't go off on u & sh. Besides, if there's someone who literally follows ppl, or some person's crying, they're prob more worthy of their attention anyway. I'm not that triggered. I got here bc this was on my feed. My kid likes this band too 🤷.

I can't believe that they're on Loudwire now. Most of the time, I thought LW was focusing on bands that had formed around the time I was born and slightly after. Now, I realize through the eyes of sad nostalgia that these guys are in their 40's, and now, I'm fucking old as shit. I remember listening to these guys when they only had one album. The hell? Deuce and J-Dog told the story of the name origin multiple times. I believe the song was name Hollywood, the band Undead (or maybe the other way), and their friend misinterpreted the band name as Hollywood Undead, so they kept it

They called the people "The Undead" as kids. So when It came around to coming up with a name, J-Dog and Deuce named it "The Undead." The Kids was orignally called "Hollywood." Deuce's neighbor read it wrong as "Hollywood Undead." So they stuck with "Hollywood Undead." Simple as that. v

I don't buy what Johnny said about Deuce and "going different directions musically". If Deuce just left because of musical differences, then he wouldn't have release Story of a Snitch and When We Ride and HU wouldn't have released Lights Out.

First off they did have different musical directions, if you listen to 9lives album that is so mush more hip hoppy than swan songs, second lights out isn't about deuce, they said it in an interview, third they stated that they kicked him out cause he was a big price of deuce in an interview.

Every time i stumble into a video about these guys i can't help but wonder how funny it'd be if the whole Deuce feud thing was in actuality just the best publicity stunt ever performed lol. People just can't stop taking about it ever, and the band apparently for a long time kind of subtly encouraged it with their silence.

I saw in a different interview that the band was called hollywood, their 1st song was undead and a friend mistaken their name seeing the two together hollywood undead on the CD and said thats a cool name

It's great, I'm just laying in bed at 2 a.m and I just see the greatest person ever so I put it on my Watch Later list, but I watch it immediately. Sometimes, J3T in a floral hoodie and a Charlie Scene friendship bracelet kills me.

With such an opportunity to ask fact or fiction you could have asked way more questions, not ones that they've answered 1000 times like "where did they get their name from?" You SHOULD have asked if they jumped Deuce back in 2010, if Deuce wrote their lyrics for Swan Songs, if they've listened to any of his relatively new music, how many more albums they have left under their current contract, and much more. A lot of the mysteries from 2010 could have been discussed. This was a waste of a potentially golden interview.
