Johnny Depp is what cheapens it for me. He is an actor..and now he is acting like a rock star. But the truth is the Hollywood Vampires was an early 70's "club"----Alice, Harry Nillsson, Micky Dolenz, Ringo...no Joe Perry. At least when the Travelin Wilburys formed, they made new..and good music.

They have a second album releasing in June that is all originals if you didn't see the recent announcement. A couple originals on first album too. (As Bad as I Am and Raise the Dead)

@@pau23454 the whole idea behind the band is that they do songs written by alice's old drinking buddies, a group called the hollywood vampires. so their covers initially consisted of hendrix, the who, the doors etc...all people that were part of the group.

Sheri Peters Matt Sorum, formerly of GnR and Velvet Revolver, has been behind the kit for these guys for the majority of their live shows. But then again even Brad Whitford of Aerosmith has played in on some of their shows too
