He was absolutely, truly, and brilliantly, terrifying in Fargo! And then he was unrecognizably farcically silly and perfect for the role as the leader of the Nihilists in The Big Lebowski. What a superb actor! And what an excellent interview!

I don’t know Swedish, but this sort of... genuine, thoughtful exchange... without the irritating sense of time crunch and/ or incessant interruptions in most American and even some British shows,... is quite educational pertaining to the subjects interviewed or discussed, without too much useless chat prevalent in American talk shows.

I am currently working with Peter Stormare. Peter is producing & directing a documentary on me & my band Possessed which is a Death Metal band, Peter is super, super cool and a down-to-Earth guy. Funny, smart and basically a good friend to both myself and the Death Metal scene. The way we met was that I was down in Ventura, CA recording our new album at Titan Studios. I was extremely wrapped up in recording my vocal tracks when in walks Peter and a friend, He introduced himself, and even though Peter is one of my favorite actors (ever since he played Lucifer in Constantine) I simply didn't recognize him. He had dark shades on, and flip-flops, a beard. But as soon as Peter walked out of the room I heard our Producer and a bunch of people talking excitedly and saying, "Do you know who that guy is?!". So I went out there and they said, "That's the actor guy, Peter Stormare from Fargo, Hanel & Gretel, Armaggedon, The Big Lebowski etc" About a half-hour later, Peter came directly into the sound booth where I was recording and started talking to me about a project. And I thought to myself, "Peter Stormare is pitching me a deal!" haha! We discussed terms and shook hands and it was a done deal. 2 days later, Peter came into the studio with a full-on film crew, photographers, lighting tech and set up shop to begin principal photography and video and recorded me during the last two songs of our new album. Peter also brought in his lovely daughter who is around 12 years old and we basically just hung out, did some initial interviews and cracked jokes. Peter is one of the guys, and even though we have only just recently met up I consider him a friend. We email, talk on the phone and he is flying out to my house to shoot more interviews as well as organizing a Possessed concert at either the Roxy or Whiskey in Hollywood in a few months. I guess my point is that Peter Stormare is a great guy. And one of my all-time favorite actors, especially now that we are friends. Besides being a big Hollywood actor & famous in Swedish cinema, Peter is a voice actor, theatre director, playwright, and musician. In fact, the reason Peter was at Titan Studios is that he was recording famous cover songs with his band which he then sells to movies as they can get a much better deal on a "cover" song than from the actual artist. Smart. ~Jeff Becerra/Possessed~

@@RodMen_89 that Hungarian accent he was trying to pull off is not even 0.1% accurate, it's Russian lol. But what he tried to point out is that Americans don't care, because they don't even know how the actual language would sound like. For them, Eastern Europe sounds like Russian, Central Europe like German, and then they are aware of Spanish, only because they have so many latinos in the US. Same goes for Italian. I bet they don't even know where 70% of the EU countries are located on the map.

Funny about the strikes and how European bad guys became popular as a direct result. We don't have anything like this show in America. It's so personal and almost intrusive, but warm and nonjudgmental. No one speaks this openly here, because everyone is so cynical about spirituality and other such things. This was delightful. Peace.
