In this video, I am creating a Hollywood wave with a straight parting, a style extremely popular among brides. I curl the entire head in one direction using a fast technique that involves dividing the hair into just 10 large strands. Thanks to the curling technique, this hairstyle has incredible hold.
Notice that before curling, I distribute a generous amount of pump spray along the entire length of the hair, and I hold the hair on the curling iron for a minimum of 20-25 seconds at the iron's maximum temperature (in my case, this is 220 degrees).
After that, I backcomb each strand onto a volumizing powder and comb out the front side of the hair with Osis Volume Up. Although it might not be visible in my video, I also use a large amount of pump spray for final fixation at the end.
The diameter of my curling iron is 25 mm, but you can use any diameter from 19 to 32 mm. Before working, I straightened the hair with a flat iron, but if you're a hairdresser, do this with a blow dryer, lifting from the roots.
If the hair is thin and the scalp is visible, be sure to take the time and do crimping to the roots 15 cm from the root across the entire head!
