One of my favourite movies is 'The Disorderly Orderly' which Kathleen Freeman played Nurse Higgins, her on screen time with Jerry Lewis is just pure classic comedy :)

Thank you for showing the final resting place of my grandfather, Ern Westmore. He was a member of the Hollywood Makeup Artist pioneering dynasty family, the Westmores. Iy would be interesting to see you create a Family edition by showing the resting places of all the Westmore family, along with the Barrymores Laemmle's, and many more Hollywood families. I know you have covered many of them, but it would be great to see them compiled all into one episode (or many episodes). I can help you with finding all the Westmores.

Sadly, didn't know a lot of these older actors. But, when I this graveyard, they were out of maps, so I had to wander about. Found Jayne Mansfield by accident...a worker there acted as if it was a trial to talk to me and help me. Later, I visited jaynes final resting place in Pennsylvania. Two days after Jayne died, we drove past the accident site. ( I'm from Louisiana) Always been interested I'm her. And later, my second fave singer ( after Elvis) Englebert Humperdinck bought Jaynes pink palace on sunset. I visited there too.

Andrew Koenig was a very good friend of Jane Valez Mitchell. I remember it was around the Winter Olympics in February 2010, and Jane kept saying her friend was missing. A few days later they found his body. He hanged himself apparently. Depression is such a horrible disease, and we all need to realise that good mental health is just as important as good phyical health. I never understood why dental, eye, and mental health aren't usually included on most health insurances. RIP Andy

Adolphe Menjou had so many wondeful roles, but one of my favorites was mean old Mr. Pendergast, in Pollyanna, 1961. It turned out he wasn’t so mean after all. Thank you, Mr. Dark, for your fantastic, well done tours. I just soak them up, and learn so much!!! I can’t wait for the next one!!!!

I always feel sad when I hear Arthur Dark say, "And that concludes our tour." I want more, and more, and more! I'm betting we will see more of Hollywood Forever in the future. It is so full of Hollywood history. That, combined with Arthur Dark's brilliantly quick mind, his generosity of intellect and delicious sense of humor, makes these videos so wonderful.

One of the greatest KZfaq channels ever!....Anyway, just a little trivia, Viola Davis was very good friends with Rudolph Valentino when he was just starting out and far from famous. One year, she found out he had no place to go for Christmas, so she took him home to her family where he helped with all of the Christmas festivities. Her family even dressed Rudy up as Santa and had him hand out all of the presents to her family members. She really liked him.....

Hello Arthur, having watched a number of your videos as well as questions and answers, I applaud you for all your hard work, and resulting great pieces .. You manage to find and bring fleetingly alive again, so many great artists and personality’s of the past, many of whom we would never have known about, if not for you, and it’s all been so very interesting and educational. Your voice is perfect for the narrative, and you always show great respect as you go around. You must walk miles too, judging by how far your travelling round the cemetery!,!. So your efforts are hugely appreciated by us all ( as well as the suitable but catchy music Giuseppe!) and I just wanted to say a BIG THANKYOU from the UK. Warm regards. Helen x

By the time I hit junior high (which is what it was called then), I was already bitten pretty hard by the movie geek bug. In addition to watching movies whenever I could, I READ a ton of movie-related material from my local library. It was one of these books, which talked about 4 Silent Screen Goddesses (and quite frankly, I can't even remember the title of the book). It was that book that I would learn about Barbara LaMarr. For years and years afterwards I was convinced I was the only one who even knew who she was as she never seemed to be mentioned in other books, nor were her movies ever made available as far as I knew. It really makes me happy to see that in addition to this video, a few other videos have been made about her proving she has NOT been forgotten. Good work Arthur. You did it again. And once again, despite being a pioneer in celebrity grave hunting, there were many names mentioned in this video I did not know about despite visiting Hollywood Forever dozens of times.

Thank you for showing me where Ms. Kathleen Freeman is resting. When I visited Hollywood Forever back in 09, Estelle Getty had just been buried, with no headstone set in place. The map provided me displayed where Ms. Freeman is resting, but for some strange reason, each time I visited Hollywood Forever, I could never actually locate Ms. Freeman to thank her for all the enjoyment she provided me throughout the years, mainly as Gertrude Burkhalter of HOGAN'S HEROES fame. As ever, a most incredible tour with an even more set of tour guides (yes, I am including your camerman, etc.!)
