Shia LaBeouf actually recanted a lot of this demonization of his father so he could look interesting in interviews, and feels ashamed for besmirching a decent man. He talked about it in an interview on Jon Bernthal's podcast. He says he was an addict and abusive to women, too. He recently converted to Catholicism.

And with all sense, he was hanging out with gangs before he started acting, thats why he plays gangster so well to date, you can tell he is actually very defensive, gangs have always been his life

All these men around this table are amazing actors who will go down in history. But one thing I love is how Jamie Foxx has the natural ability to help you visualize what he is saying along with constantly making you laugh. He had these men rolling! And he has so much positive energy in him, you can see it as he speaks. His whole body becomes animated. A truly blessed individual. All of these men are blessed in their own ways. It is a true pleasure to have been able to see them work in this lifetime.

liam Nobody carried the last three movies They sucked. It's more thinly veiled propaganda wrapped in nostalgia. Here's the thing though, nobody is fooled by it anymore. People are both finding and creating content far outside the mainstream. That's part of why we are all collectively on KZfaq instead of watching TV. The only people still interested are kids who haven't caught on to the formulaic repetitiveness.

@FuturesDoubleCup - I absolutely agree with you. Shia isn't perfect, nobody is. He has had his problems, the only difference is, the media had to blow his troubles up. Where as other actors get their issues hidden so they have the perception of being "perfect". Shia grew up working for Disney. That alone let's you know the kind of things he has probably had to deal with. To me it's rare to see an actor take on such different roles and do a fabulous job. He becomes his characters. I think he is very underrated and if given the opportunity will make more wonderful movies!!

Meanwhile in the room, everyone is comfortable with each other and mutually respectful because preserving everyone's dignity naturally leads to a more fun conversation. When Shia said "if you can empathize with the biggest villain in your life and scrape some of these shadows it makes you lighter and freer." That was profound and I really felt that.

huh what You clearly need to take a reading comprehension & critical thinking class then. He’s clearly saying if there’s someone in your life that you see as the villain, the hate you have starts to blind you & so you only see the negative parts of that person. Once you start to empathize with them, you start understanding & seeing some of the good parts of them. Thus lessening the hate you feel & making you feel “lighter”.
