I feel like having two parents is so essential. It's possible to be raised by one of course and still become phenomenal human beings. Having a dad does add balance despite the gender of the child. This era is different and time moves on, I just know first hand that money is not the only thing that can secure the psychosis of a child and how they view relationships in the future.

Did you see the way she rolled her eyes when Jr was wailing in that court hallway--she looked annoyed and disgusted. And the grandad kept saying how he would do anything else for Jr. but change his diaper bc he didn't feel comfortable changing it. The fact that NO ONE wanted to take Jr. set off alarms: something about Jr makes people uneasy and/or cautious in how they handle him. Karlissa is saying all that now to save face.
