I watched this series at the same time I was trying to think of a paper topic for a research class I was taking. It was fall, October, and I had apple cider and cinnamon with chopped apples cooking on the stove. Filled the whole apartment with the smell of fall. I’d curl up and watch FMA:B. This arc was the one I watched at the peak of apple-cooking season, and so I hear this song and I think of autumn breezes, change, apples, yellow and gold. And writing a gender analysis paper on Riza and Winry, but that part isn’t nearly as nice.

I just finished this anime today, and boy has it had an impact on me. I don’t think I’ll ever look at things the same way again, it’s completely changed my point of view. Yeah it is in my Opinion one of the best Series of all Time. And if you like Series that can give you something to think about i would recomend two must watched Classics Code Geass and Death Note.

Yesterday was my last day of school, and most fma ost's have this kinda nostalgic vibe that also yearns for the future. I have very mixed feelings, and don't want to leave the comfortable solace of following a schedule, putting on my uniform and sitting on the same spot everyday with the friends I've known for the last 11 years of my life(that's how long it is in my country since most schools are k-11). I'm terrified yet I am aware of the possibilities that uni is bringing to me, new people and new challenges, new memories are to be made. But I can't help but feel like I am being tossed at it with no rest in between.

I watched FMA late compared to most, started the original at 18-19 years old and finished it at 19 years old. I'm now 21 years old and this anime still has a massive spot in my heart for my favourite shows. Thanks Hiromu Arakawa for a great world and story.

Both the original and brotherhood have absolute fantastic OPs. The weakest amongst them would be considered great achievements for most other anime, and only pale in comparison to the best of FMA

Robert Harris openings are more than just music. The animation, the direction, the shot composition, the interest curves, the foreshadowing are all important aspects of OPs. Plenty of OPs have good tunes but are pretty trash. Cowboy Bebop is great but that doesn't make the incredible animation and direction of FMA/B less impressive

Envy is my favorite character. *Spoiler* When they died I cried. I thought they'd be on Ed's side once they were exposed about what they're actually jealous about but NO. Ugh I had to pause it once the scene ended because the tears wouldn't fucking stop.

I love this song. It reminds me of early 2004 when I was a little kid, my favourite thing to do back then was to play Yu-Gi-Oh.I remember looking at the cards and make some stories about them in my mind.I remember i was looking at a card that had a huge field full of grass and I wanted to go there.I don't know how but this song reminds me of that. It's nice to find something that makes you relaxed and look back and remember some nostalgic memories

funny, I play this song and Again to help with pain, hype up for a big event, etc. but it hurts as well. it brings me back. I'm no different than Ed and Al. I did something in my friend group that I still live with today. Every time I think of that it hurts cuz it's over and I need to forget. It transformed me and the way I see psychology. Every time I think of my crush. That I don't wanna have. The fact she knows I like her because of a choice to tell 1 person brings me back here : } God loves y'all!

Was never totally clear why this song played instead of Again at the end of the series (not that I'm complaining), but then I actually thought about the message in Again and this song Again is pretty referential to doing things over... again. It has to do with the themes of the show but also its about starting over, since FMA 03 was already a thing Hologram on the other hand talks about going into an unseen world, which is extremely fitting when you consider it plays at the point FMAB finally diverges from the content that was more or less the same in FMA 03 (albeit told faster) Once the Dublith part is over, FMAB is uncharted territory to anyone who's only seen FMA 03 Now, at the end of the series, Ed and Al might have achieved some of the goals the series was about, but still they go off on a new adventure... and with that being the end of the anime... so must the audience... we're all going to a yet unseen world!

Wow, your explanation is really good. To add onto that, Again wouldn't really work since it's a high tempo song. Hologram is bittersweet, yet uplifting, which was fitting for the ending.
