my favourite self care thing lately has been organising and decluttering! Only like one shelf or drawer or category at a time so it doesn't get overwhelming, but it feels so refreshing afterwards.

Have you read Marie Kondo's "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing" (super long title hehe) I read it last year and it has continuously changed my life for the better. At first I used to watch Hoarders to inspire myself to get rid of stuff and clean but after reading that book I had such a healthier & clearer mindset on WHY I wanted to declutter and omg I'd recommend that book to anyone. I agree! Decluttering is so rewarding and my space & mind feel so refreshed after :)

So glad you’re back! I personally love this style of makeup videos. Much more relatable and fun! You also don’t contour your face like crazy, cover yourself in layers of foundation, or make yourself look like a copy of everyone else. It’s so nice! Pleaseeee don’t change that. ;P

What's crazy is I spent such a long time insecure that I couldn't look like THAT and had to learn to snap out of it and say YO, Cat, the reason people liked you in the first place and the reason you enjoyed making videos in the first place was you were being yourself and showing what you DID know how & loved to do so ... don't lose that? :) Thank you for such a kind reminder that we shine the most when we are ourselves

So happy to see a new tutorial from you ;) Love how the makeup matches the earrings. My fav self-care ritual is going for a walk somewhere green and take time to relax. Another favorite is reading in a cozy environment with a hot cup of tea. Hope to see more of you on YT in 2018 ;)

There was one time my friend picked me up to drive to a filmshoot and we passed into an area with tons of trees and hills. Suddenly my heart lifted and I just said GREEN! TREES! And at that moment I realized I had been in an urban environment for so long I forgot how important it is to escape to nature & reset. No wonder visiting the ocean & hikes always rejuvenate the soul. Thank you for sharing! Also my love for tea definitely increased in 2017. I always loved it but after getting to visit London for the first time I was like ... tea time is the best. thing. ever. And now I have English Breakfast Tea almost everyday haha. And yes! You will see more of me! Working on my next video for this month already!

I use to be IN LOVE with your channel. I even entered into your Tim Burton contest YEARS ago. I have missed your tutorials so so much and I really hope you start bringing out more. You were always my favourite 'beauty guru' (You always did out of the box make up so I don't feel like that label suits you at all!) and I'm so happy to see a video from you again

OMG! Which look were you for Tim Burton Contest? The submissions were INSANE I loved all of it. Thank you for entering oh so many years ago! And thank you for such sweet compliments ... I've spent a lot of time being insecure comparing myself to other beautiful & talented artists and had to find a way to love myself again before I made videos I could stand behind :) Thank you for still being here & I hope you will enjoy my new works to come!

Oh my goodness it was this AWFUL Alice one from Alice Madness Returns (It's a game which btw.. I'd love to see you do a tutorial correctly unlike me lmao) I put a lot more time into the filming and editing then make up so it wasn't very good. Not sure if you'd remember or not it for sure was nothing impressive lmao

My favorite self-care ritual is to take time out of my day for me. I'm usually go go go and never take a moment to eat or drink water or sit down even... It may sound odd but when you like to keep busy it's hard to remember to do so. So I like to make it a mission of mine instead so I have no excuse to forget. BTW, love you AUDFACED!!!!!! What a great way to start the new year than with an old school Audfaced makeup tutorial, I've missed you so much. I wish you so much more happiness in 2018!!!!! :D

Omg! Yes I totally know what it's like. Often I find myself saying "I don't have time to meditate / journal / drink water / sit down, I'm TOO BUSY!" and at that moment I realize it's times when you feel you don't have time is when you really need to make time. I've found even 3 minutes of meditation in the morning had a big impact on my day. Even though I was running late I made time despite the anxiety and it helped! Also, thank you!! I wish you everything you need & so much happiness this new year
