So, this was completely unexpected.
I wasn't going to make a full video about this, but I thought I could make a short one in one afternoon. The idea was to make a short montage using the Yoshi's Island map theme, but when I had accumulated all the footage that I wanted to use, I realized I could just fully commit and make it a long video.
So here we are.
Also, the video had the original Yoshi's Island music before, but it got claimed, and not by Nintendo, but by UMG, because that song was used as a sample for another song, so KZfaq kept thinking that I was using that song instead of the original.

The Marine Event is so fitting it almost feels scripted, like WTF, streaming for 40 minutes at kanatas house on kanatas pc with kanatas bgm using kanatas facility and getting it like, it’s nothing, especially with marine having the sea connection already, feels like fate

I had something similar happen to me back when I played Wow. There was a cosmetic pet that I wanted, but it had a 1/1600 drop rate. Or maybe worse. I forget. It was a longtime ago. Regardless, I spent hours each day camping those things. I farmed them so hard an admin did a force-loggout on me to make sure I wasn't a bot. One day, I logged in and thought, "wouldn't it be nice if the first kill drops the pet?" Lo and behold, the first kill of the day was the last kill in that long grind. It finally dropped, and I probably made a lot of the same noises as Kanata.

I haven't been this proud of someone be so determined to see a goal through. Her frustration as some others hit it first was agonizing. But when she finally got one, and her... excitement was so bright. She was so happy. We make fun of her excitement. But we all so damn proud and happy for her. May "1/3200 27 hour" live long and be treasured, not just by Kanate, but the fans that watched and cheered... and poked fun at her.

Thanks Kowkarot! I finished binge watch all of your masterpieces! I remember watched the streams, and people really touched that the chat went brrrr when the blue uprp appeared. That 27+ hrs of hard work made that blue upa as the most expensive ssr. Literally over ¥1M. Ppl thought it was crazy enough that blue upa made its appearance after 3200 breed, but Holostars' Aruran got his blue upa after 4600 breed. That moment was... Fateful.
