Kanata did have some regrets for the past few month not being able to release a cover with Coco or finish her minecraft 4th gen pixel art..
but she did her best releasing the original song,

I get what people mean by "don't cry" and "stay strong". It's not coming from a malicious place. That being said, she's been strong for a whole month if not 4 whole months. Everyone is allowed to let it out, now.

Staying strong for too long, and you become good at it... But people forget that what you're getting good at is bottling and killing your own feelings, feelings that form emotions, that then form you. Stay strong for too long, and you're killing part of yourself. It's fine to stay strong for the people around you, but everyone, regardless of how much innate strength or emotional fortitude they possess, need a release. Get too good at suppressing your emotions and at some point, you lose touch with your own emotions, and at some point, empathy starts to fade due to neglect and atrophy....

even now for me, it doesn't feel right that Coco won't stream anymore.

I understand her feelings, but atleast Kanata still have her at home, so she can sing songs or play games with her even if its offstream

I don't think you understand her feelings (I'm sorry if that sounds rude, that's not my intention at all). Of course they can keep doing a lot of things together off stream, they're best friends after all. But there are also lots of things that they can't do anymore. There will be no more collabs, no more concerts together. If the 4th generation has to work as a team on some hololive event, Coco will most likely not be there. There will be no more streams from Kiryu Coco. The coworker, the avatar and the character that she always admired and loved so much is not there anymore. Sure, the person behind the avatar is still there, but a lot of things are going to change now for both of them... I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this whole situation is sadder for Kanata than for most of us...

Coco turned Hololive into a family. I care more for the Holo family than the Holo group. As long as the truly caring friends stay with Coco, I'll be happy. Kanata should not have any regrets. The song was spectacular, and she probably made some higher ups in Cover look bad in comparison; they told her it was impossible, and she did it. This angel could probably start a side job producing Coco while continuing to work as an idol.

I think thats the greatest feat that Coco did: making hololive less of a workplace, more of a family place. You can tell by how Kanata said she will miss Coco being in Hololive as if Hololive became a home for them.

it's common for pro wrestlers to come back to the ring even after retirement so it should be possible here too

@@Zealoth1800 they have some similarity, the wrestling promotions (stardom, tokyo joshi, diana, etc) = Cover corp. The wrestlers = vtubers. Autograph/photo/handshae events exist, there is also retirement ceremony too. as long as there is no strict rule stating that she can't comeback to the company & there is a demand for her then i think she can always come back.

only for cameos though. Coco thought about this for months and months, and despite everyone begging her to stay, she wanted to keep her integrity and chose the hard, yet better option

KanaCoco brought us so many moments of joy. Of course when it all ends you naturally wonder if you could've done more. I hope Kanata knows she's done plenty enough with the time she's had.

Just hearing her wish for Coco to stay together in Hololive just a bit longer brought out the water works. That really stinged. These past few months were certainly agonizing for them and as for us, it was nothing short of that as well as dreadful as the days passed, coming closer to Coco's graduation. Even now, I wished her graduation was pushed back to at least Fall. Enough time to do collabs, finish up Meme Reviews with any JP gals left as well as the EN and ID gals and maybe Holostars. But what happened, happened and I'm glad we got to send her off properly.
