My first encounter was in North Lomei Labyrinth. I reached the shrine in the center of the labyrinth and noticed what looked like a pulsating pool of gloom behind some iron bars. Upon looking closer, I saw there were hands in the gloom. At first I thought they were Floormasters. I was fortunate that the iron bars were there. Then I read a tablet in the shrine room and the iron bars lifted. I decided to cautiously inspect the hands since my camera didn't seem to pick them up. The hands noticed me and I initially thought, welp, better get to safety. But then the music started to change. The screen started to turn red... THOSE WERE NOT FLOORMASTERS. Eventually I got to safety but decided to press my luck by bombing them. Once they died, I thought it was over, but my relief was short lived when "Phantom Ganon" appeared on the screen. I took a picture of Phantom Ganon and decided to press my luck again by fighting him on the labyrinth canopy, but his attacks kept knocking me down into the maze. Ultimately I decided that North Lomei Labyrinth was a terrible location to fight him due to the high walls, so I gave up. I have now set my Shrine Sensor to track Phantom Ganon. This way, I will never be caught off guard.

The Gloom Hands are great, first time I saw one was from a distance at night. I watched it, not sure what it's about, then I left the area. Didn't know they showed up elsewhere until another area when they came out of nowhere, so I fought them off. Phantom Ganon then showing up was another big surprise, and even better you can fight several of these throughout the depths and land!

It's been 10 months, I thought you didn't upload videos anymore. Anyway, I'm glad you're back. Please, make more of Hololive compilations that are especially fun to make me laugh.

Just last night, I finally had the resources and skills to completely cheese the one in the North Lomei Labyrinth (the one Chloe encountered here. I saw it spawn from above, so I decided to try and fight it, but noticed midway through that I had single digit arrows left, so I retreated while I restocked). But my first encounter was like something out of a horror game, mainly the second phase. It was the one in the Hyrule Castle lockup. I saw the hands go toward me and I ran. When I went back after I couldn’t hear the music anymore, they despawned. I worked up the courage to reload, and then noticed that they couldn’t go through the gate separating me from them. I then took my time with them using some Royal Guard Bows I scavenged from the castle. When the Phantom Ganon name showed up, I gasped that he was back. I thought I could go to town on him as well, but when he PHASED THROUGH THE GATE, I ran like hell, trying to snipe him, but he always closed the distance. Eventually, he just despawned (probably due to being too far away from the spawn point). Then started a series of reloads of me cheesing the hands, but dying to PG over and over (due to only having like five hearts at the time) as I learned his attack patterns. Eventually, I prevailed, but then learned that you entered the chamber from above. So long story short, I unintentionally cheesed my first Gloom Hands encounter, and INTENTIONALLY cheesed the one I fought last night.

Yeah that cave was my 1st encounter and quickly realized bombs were the way ti go but only had 2 on me at the time and couldn't kill them individually fast enough

Late game with a ton of hearts, it’s definitely possible to eat of attrition these things and take them out with melee. You’ll get your health back if you fight them on the surface. In the Depths, different fucking story! Same thing with Ganondorf! Last night I learned the hard way that Ganondorf is nothing like Calamity Ganon and he’s actually kind of hard if you don’t have enough Sundelions to cook. Not making that mistake again tonight!

My first encounter with the hands was near kakariko my second one was in the underground somewhere. My third encounter was at this place and that’s the first time I defeated the hands and I was happy than suddenly that guy spawns I defeated him but it was brutal hard at least o had 5-8 hearts

I'm more surprised how late in game some of them encountered it. My first encounter was straight out of Lookout Landing. I was still wearing the toga.

OMG! He’s alive!! It’s been almost a year since you posted. Thought this was a dead channel.

My first encounter was in the same place as Koyori, Noel and Kiara. I thought it was a Floor Master/ Dead Hands, still call it that. Managed to run past it and activate the shrine, then turned around to throw bombs at it until it died, like Kiara. **Phantom Ganon** FUCK. Okay, okay, should be fine if I stay here. *Teleports right in front of me* FUCK. *snap picture* *legs it across room* *music stops* Huh? *Wander around cautiously* He’s…gone? *Approach shrine again* *Sees three dark clumps on the floor by the shrine* Did…did the shrine kill him?🤔 Pretty convinced that either he’s programmed to die when placed next to a shrine of light for lore reasons, or he just glitched out and the game killed him to despawn him. That first encounter never dropped any weapons, btw. Only the three clumps. Had to fight another one to get my first look at gloom weapons.

Man i don't think anyone had a first experience with gloom hands that was some sort of fear,dread or panic. Like nintendo decided: we are going to get rid of the most scary enemy in the last game but replace it with a even more scary enemy because zelda has to keep that middle tone of being silly one moment and serious or scary the next.
