Honestly, more people should be making these mini-documentaries, it's gonna be Hololive lore in the future after all. Just look at the full length docs out there like Suisei's vtuber career biography or the HaaWata movie. The former convinced me to fully fall in to the peko hole (by that I mean sub to all of them and stop resisting the urge to SC) and the latter made me get over my initial disdain for Haachama. (in my defense watching Haachama cooking when I didn't even know what a vtuber was was probably a bad move) In the future I will rewatch videos like this with a smile on my face, that's for sure. PS: I'd like to see the day when someone makes a NoeFlare, Festivaluna or PekoMiko documentary, that'd be the dream.

I only joined around mid August and it’s so weird seeing how fast everything has grown since. I had not clue that Korone had nearly doubled her sub count in 4 months. AND I’ve witnessed the sheer speed of Gura first hand. It’s insane

If the subgrowth of the three stays the same, as it is right now, then gura will reach 1mil first. she has 850k and has been getting 15k+ for the last few days, according to socialblade her last 3 days were even 20k, 20k, 33k, so she has a slight increase once again. however if we take the minimum of 15k, then in 10 days she will reach 1mil. fubuki has 933k right now and socialblade has her getting exactly 2k for a while per day, so without an increase or decrease it would take her maybe 34 days to 1mil. korone had a lot of growth recently, though it has slowed down again, but it is still higher than fubukis.she has currently 920k and has been getting 4k and 5k and sometimes 3k, if i go with 4k, then korone will reach 1mil in 20 days. socilblade also has an milestone estimation and i want to put it here too. gura: 4 days fubuki: 29 days korone: 26 days either way, all will reach 1mil soon and gura reaching it first will not say, that she is better, but that the english audience on youtube is just bigger. a lot of people were following hololive jp and a significant portion of their subscribers were overseas fans, but jp fans are still the majority of the audience for most of them. the current hololive audience can transfer to new members, as we saw in gen 5 with botan reaching 200k before her debut, but the debut of hololive en had also big numbers and i just dont believe, that the jp fans were all of them. jp fans probably have a decent interest in hololive en, but i would say, that a big amount at the beginning were overseas vtuber fans and now more and more english speaking people notice hololive.

I'll admit that Im Scatman is my first peek into the rabbit hole, but then I look away because I'm not really into Vtubers then. Then just 2 month ago, I found the Eekum Bokum meme, and decided to check out the source. I ended up watching the entire stream, and subbed to our Yubi Master. And now I'm deep down in the hole scrolling through many translated clips and I don't feel like getting out. I don't think I can anyway. Edit: Oh, and I wish them all the best.
