I think sleeping on the floor for Japanese can mean one of two things. Sleep on a literal tiled floor or sleep on top of a Futon. Last time I went to Japan I slept in a friends house and since his bed is a single bed I sleep on the futon that his mom rolled out for me in the same room.

the silly dumb thing about this is, Japanese to Indonesian and vice versa, actually better they use their own language. either Japanese or Bahasa Indonesia. because it's similar to each other... if they use english, it's just.. weird..😅 In bahasa indonesia itself they do have some loanwords from nihongo. And the opposite, nihongo, because their southern region(austronesia region), do have some familiar words to indonesians. "campur/chanpuru" is one example of that. JP-ID conversation actually dont need English as the bridge. They can just use their each other language 😅. It's easier that way. The system is similar. They have honorific titles(like ani/onii, ane/one, san, chan, sama, etc), they do have same greetings and stuff, they also sometimes shorten some words, they also mix both of their language and english word.

hajime speaks hajime, and kobo speaks kobo, they are not japanese or bahasa
