Nice. Good review. I am always amazed how holosun can make such a good optic for the money. And their eotech style reticle is some much more crisp and clean than eotech themselves.

This is awesome, thank you for reviewing this sight. You've basically gotten me onto both the Vortex Viper Gen II 1-6x and now this AEMS. I've had issues in the past with Eotechs and other red dots especially when weather is a problem. The fact that this sight has the clear lens covers not only helps keep water off the actual glass but protects it in general. I wonder if later on there will be some anti reflection version for the front cover. Also, a basic mount coming in with the order. 50k hours on dot version, solar panel, shake awake, small package, square glass. It's gotta be the best red dot sight on the market for the price.

I appreciate you holding your ground on your opinion on the 509T. Not sure many would these days. Makes me trust your reviews a lot more. 👍

Love your honesty on the “chunky milk” 509T

I have a HOLOSUN 509T on my 5.7 x 28 pistol and have NO distortion problems except at the VERY top 1/8". I have this AEMS on my RUGER PC chassis carbine. BUT... as this article shows, the slot in the packing box was NO lower mount. So I'll wait a bit (as inflation drives the price higher) for that elusive lower mount. I got the AEMS for my PCC precisely because I liked my 509T so much. I god "spoiled" with the 509T's features, all of which are in the AEMS except the titanium body (the AEMS has a forged 7075 aluminum body) and the AEMS does have clear polymer lens covers which are great for a more continually exposed carbine red dot. **(I wonder, are Chinese fighter planes as advanced, comparatively speaking?)

Thanks for making this video! I was able to peek through the Holosun 510 from a store demo, and the reticle looked nice and clear with my astigmatism eyes. Do you think the AEMS would have the same clarity as the 510?

Hi there I was comparing between two AEMS VS 512C and I noticed 512c is less distortion Lens and easy access battery component so I picked 512c how you think?

Reptilia Corp has a mount coming out soon for the AEMS. Not sure when, but they do have pictures of it and probably still doing some T&E on it I bet.

A little disappointed with the distortion at the top

My holosun is the best so far I'm a sucker that bought every other brand and figured the holosun would end up sold or in my parts drawer...so far the best it's bright enough for the wasteland and deceptively large view Chinese it may be but almost all are or just assumed to be American anyway

Get the green reticle one. Its much clearer in my opnion

The 512Gold is a better sight but with inflation up it makes sense to use less material like smaller glass.

Does this come with a low mount ?

You saw a lot of low price lpvo scopes,which 1-6x under 500 do you think is the best.

Why is it so hard to have a reflex sight without distortion?

I like Holosun but I’m not sure how you compare a red dot to an Eotech…apples and oranges.

Before I buy any holosun, I ask the store to open it so I can look at the glass and glue. If you have enough holosun stuff, you know why. I love their stuff, but qc isn't that great.

I really wanted to like this optic, but the distortion (on the one I bought at least) is terrible. Makes having a large window/FOV a complete waste.

I Won’t support China junk anymore. It’s Eotech or Aimpoint for me. Battle proven. Buy once, done. Love the reviews though. I bought my Kahles 1-6 because of your review. Battery issues, I took a gamble. So far so good. Glass is so clear I love it.
