Thank you for your very informative video. Forgive me for making a small suggestion, but you tend to fidget with the device while you are talking. If you slowed your hands down a little and just showed each side of the device slowly, that would sure be helpful. Thank you, again, for the tutorial.

Did it come with- or does it need mounting plates for a RMR milled slide?
@yota_blaster50302 жыл бұрын
It has the same mounting footprint as the RMR so you should not need an adapter plate

I know from him showing pic rail mount on this one it came with red dot but a lot of what I'm reading and seeing is holosun stopped shipping these with pic rail mount. guess they seen they could sell mounts and make more $$$$ you'd think for $310+ for red and $340+ for green dot they'd keep sending with pic rail mount as they started out doing but hey it's China what do you expect
@yota_blaster5030 Жыл бұрын
That or they realized that 90% of people are using them on pistols and it was a waste of money to include something that’s not leaving the box. I’d buy it without the mount and email them “hey where’s my pic mount?”. I bet they’d send you one for free. Primary Arms did that for me. They had a promotion where you got a 30mm cantilever mount when you purchased an optic. I guess I missed the promotion so I called to inquire and they sent one to me. Idc if it’s Chinese or not, they have good glass and my Holosun hasn’t given me any issues after years of beating on it. If it works well and that’s what most people can afford then the American manufacturers need to learn to compete with that market.

Is there a difference between the red and green color dot they sell? Other than obviously the color? Lol
@yota_blaster50302 жыл бұрын
Not to my knowledge. However, I’ve heard that the technology required to engineer the green dots is more complicated and can attribute to them costing more. I don’t know enough about the tech behind them to confirm or deny this.

I think someone else had this issue in the comments. I would assume they realized that the vast majority of consumers were installing them on pistols and they decided to not waste the money if they weren’t being utilized. However, I bet if emailed them they would possibly send you one for free.

Price? How does optic attach to pistol??
@yota_blaster50303 жыл бұрын
$309. If your pistol is “optics ready” there are 2 screws that go through the middle of the optic near the emitter. If your pistol is not optics ready, you will need to have the slide cut to accommodate for this. It cost me $120 to have mine cut, recoated , greased, and the optic installed to the appropriate torque specs with lock tite.
@tomconley24583 жыл бұрын
There are dovetail mount options available where a mounting plate will incorporate the use of your rear sight dovetail. However they make the optic sit on top of the slide instead of having a channel milled into your slide for the optic. The higher you mount the optic, the harder it will be to zero.
