I love my Haptic. Its adjustable detent system is magical and the action is otherworldly. A little smaller than I usually go for, but it is probably #2 smoothest knife I've owned, only beaten by the Grimsmo Rask V2.

Holt has had Morpheus knives in the nude with sunburst, feather or quill micro-milling available for purchase on their website for approximately two weeks now.

Yep. If you are okay with a nude titanium Morpheus, he has had them available for pre-order for several weeks on their website. Very tempting, but alas my wallet is drained after snagging a Brown drop. I probably would want one of his ano knives anyway.

Love my Haptic. Got #859, and a buddy of mine got 857, so we get a lot of joy from. Having nearly sibling knives but they're just m390 versions with basic hardware and nice ano and can confirm from working lots of freight for a couple years with the guy, they are great carry knives. And the sound they make is W O N D E R F U L

Best way to get is at a show. Go to BS ‘24 and they will have a whole table’s worth, with 3-5 like this would be my guess based on BS ‘23.

You’re spot on man. I picked up two at BS Atlanta. The prices at shows are the best too. Avoid dealers like the plague when buying Holt or Grimsmo knives. The mark up is very high.

Guess we won’t get a lock test on this one. After watching the GBall Vision video on lock failures I don’t trust the locks of even the best makers.

Did you watch his video? Failures and injuries across a wide range. It’s a form over function argument. From a broader perspective the community more focused on action and appearance than handling something than can actually cause serious injury

@@markp4401 I know what you mean if you are talking about Holt's customer service though. My first knife I bought from them it was a pleasure but when I bought my second Holt (Haptic) I was treated like dog shit. They gave me no detent adjustment tool. Then they told me they don't come with them anymore and that he doesn't recommend adjusting it even though that's like one of the features of the knife. There's more but I'm tired of typing. LMFAO.

Did you by any chance do a spine wack test on any holts? I hear that they fail. That's why I got a SBD Mini Evo SE instead because it also has a ramp detent but it's made in China 🫤 I still love it though.
