The funny thing is, he wasn't an anti-Semite. The whole thing started when Meryl Streep tried to smear/shame him by proxy for associating with the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals (the MPA), which itself was claimed to be anti-Semitic. And then an animator (David Swift) claimed he heard Disney make an anti-Semitic remark (when? where? why?) and a staffer (David Hilberman) claimed that a person was fired for being Jewish (even though Disney only really got involved in the firing of the top brass). Odd that a supposedly anti-Semite would have so many staff (actors, animators, etc.) who where Jewish with no complaints from them of discrimination - or that he would give unpublicized donations to Jewish charities. But what can you do when everyone "knows" he was anti-Semite and he can't defend himself?

The fact that you can put out stuff that genuinely makes you laugh & you keep that in just helps make it for me. You could probably make them so much higher quality, but there's just a hominess that helps make them funnier

What a coward move, you don't get to act all smug and shit after you already bent the knee to the mob, the guy that started it all didn't even necessarily want Apu to be gone he was even a fan of the show, he was just pointing out how the lack of variety in Indian representation is kinda annoying for Indian people because they kept getting called Apu and shit, but they sure as fuck didn't know about anything outside of the Twitter mob who also missed the point.
