Holy Girl Morning Routine | fitting in worship, prayer & bible study time before a 9 to 5

hi guys :) welcome!
so this video is a bit different for me... but i think it's important to show you all that it IS possible to fit time with the Holy Spirit before your day gets hectic- you may have to force it at first but it'll stick eventually. i know some people do this at night as well- do whichever way and time works for you.
for me, getting this time took about 9 months to figure out. i went straight into working corporate and i immediately was like, um how am i supposed to work AND also do ALL of this... the key is to find your rhythm and gaps and fill them. this might mean waking up earlier for you, as it did for me :( but it IS worth it and your spirit yearns for time with God!
one thing i did not do was go tooo much in depth- if you would like that sort of video, please let me know and i can do that :)

yesss, worship is not always what we confine it to be! how you steward what He gives you IS worship too :) I literally picture a person thanking God for everything they have while the upkeep of their things isn't the greatest- God gotta be like "you fr? you sure you grateful?" 😅 it just looks contradicting 🥴

I like those stickys, highlighters and pens! I don’t have a closet big enough so I just have a designated spot in the living room, but giving even five minutes makes all the difference in the world 😊

I just found your channel! This is encouraging. I agree with you , not all worship looks the same. The most important form of worship is our life style and our praises stem from there on! Be encouraged you’ll grow in how you worship/ praise him the closer you get.🤍

There’s a song for those who feel they’re a reserved worshipper, Elevation worship where it says “where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom”. Then the scripture of David dancing until he was undignified.

yesss, i love this! like it is okay to be reserved with it at times, but when the time comes, you should be without shame, hesitation or remorse like David regardless of who is around to worship as well 🙂

@@Gh1styfy i literally felt this! i see some people have books on top of books, and a ton of other things for their devotion, and that works for them well. all of that is nice, yes but its not for everyone... i get distracted easy so 😆it is not for me. God appreciates you showing up :D the fancy stuff is just preference, not mandatory :)

What do you mean when you say heart posture

ooooo girl, this is great question! im going to do my best to explain this, but let me know if it makes no sense 😭 i like to think of heart posture as your heart’s position and condition. soo like, a resentful heart holds a grudge, is closed off for apologies, and isnt open to receive a different perspective, right? when we are hurt, our heart is more closed off and we hold that in. the thing is though, that takes up space. your heart is postured towards hurt, greed, resent, etc, whatever it may be and that leaves little to no room for gratitude, love, generosity, etc. life happens so, sometimes we have to, i guess to say it simply, come correct 😅 you can pray for God to adjust your heart’s posture so you are open for your time with him, but also open for what his assignment requires of you! in another way, I think of it as your intention too! In Matthew 6:21, Jesus mentions how where your treasure is, your heart is also. that can be a way to indicate your heart posture! materialism and greed and selfishness can easily be a heart posture, where your intention would look a bit more pointing to self rather than to God. sometimes we wake up sad or angry or not feeling it, and setting your heart posture there is important, so you dont block the blessing you might have to be for someone, you know? or even for yourself, your posture could taint your time with God or in your world i hope that makes sense! 🫶🏽

hello!! thank you for watching and for your comment :) so i actually have a more recent video where i discuss modesty and topics pertaining to what you’ve commented. in this video, and pretty much all of my other videos, i happen to be home, and i live alone. i wanted this video to be as authentic as possible and so im wearing my everyday home wear, so to me, what i am wearing is okay. i think modesty is personal and to the person so if i dont get a conviction for wearing running shorts when im home, then it is okay :) even if it is something you or someone else is convicted on. so i dont take offense to your comment at all! we might just view it differently and that is alright 🫶🏽 all love to you, God bless you too :)

hello! thanks for your comment; i actually contemplated switching the title of this video to Christian Girl Morning Routine as an alternative just to not step on anyone’s toes but also just because i dont want to seem like i AM perfect when im far from that. just for context though girl, the word “holy” in Hebrew means set apart or separate and as Christians, we ARE set apart (Colossians 3:12 says we ARE holy as God’s chosen people). the title here is not the issue when you look at it from the set apart perspective. the context is super important. the routine i am sharing is one that is set apart for God- thus holy now, i dont think that there’s necessarily a problem- im not here to assert that i am holy but preface that the God i am pursuing is. i trust that He will lovingly correct me in due time if i am wrong in my outlook, and i think we have to leave room for people to be wrong and let God correct them when the time is right. thank you for sharing your input 🫶🏽 God bless you!
