Here in Houston they start around 500 for 10 yards with 150 feet of hose that’s why we try to use a concrete buggy, I wish they had your prices over here I’ll pump every job just like ya do.

Whats up Anthony and Kristen...talked you, Anthony, awhile back, you guys should create a playlist just for pumping 101 type videos. I would like to see you guys do some more videos on the pumping just like this one or some on smaller jobs where you can walk through setting up the pump (nitrogen levels, throttle speed, pump speed) and how to determine that, using water/slurring primer to start pumping, any adjustments needing going off the sound of the pump like throttle faster/slower, and setting up for clean-out.

We use 4 inch line to the pour area here in Ireland and 3 inch on the pour and we use a schwing s750 and that pump can pump sum rough concrete.

What pump would you recommend for a beginner?

Good video Anthony coming from 10 yr on a hard rock Reed b50 you're pump is definitely a bit different also I picked up my first skid steer last sat a s70 like yours! In my state we can’t get fly ash much anymore. We had slag mix’s now. It offers no delay time in the drying of the mix like fly ash does. It’s a better mix than a ash mix to me. But we have to run retarders in the summer here cause it’ll set up way to quick on us.

I would love to have a pump on every job. We use concrete buggies in the northern IL alot. Pumps are around $800 per day to hire out. Its nuts for pumps around here.
