5 жыл бұрынEvan Brickner plays his rendition of Holy, Holy, Holy (NICAEA), with a lively introduction borrowed from the great Louis Vierne and cleverly adapted to lead into the hymn. The organ is Austin Opus 175 (1906), rebuilt and modified over the years, III/40.

Evan, I'm organist at another church but often attend Mass at St.John the Baptist in New Freedom with my mother and I miss hearing you there!

Beautiful arrangement and performance. Wonderful use of registrations and crescendo towards the end. Awesome acoustics. Bravo !!

That was phenomenal! I've never heard any Austin sound so good! I really appreciated the little blip of the human side of being an organist in the end 😉

Very nice!!!. I loved listening to you perform. I live in Connecticut and ran into a woman at a vegetable stand with the last name of Austin. Turns out her husband/family owned Austin Organ in Hartford. He died some years ago. It was a pretty cool accidental meet up since my wife and I had just been talking about Cathedral organs in the car just before we had stopped in. 1 in a million I guess.
