I haven’t been too impressed with holy paladin since I’ve been back, so I think I might have to give this a try again. Last time I played one was BFA and I had a great time healing 15s with the insane corruptions I had.

i have been playing holy since lock got ksm. Nearly to ksm on priest now. I've healed up to a 15 and 465 ilvl

Just started healing as holy priest (leveled up solo till lvl50 then used a boost to 70), so i don't know shit about this, but that's why i got a question. You don't mention Pwer Word : Shield anywhere? I used and still use that constantly on my own, is that a waste then???

There was also a buff to heal... (Lightweaver is great) 2900 rating prior to the buffs with lightweaver + miracle worker. If you can snag a seedling trinket, it will get you through any group aoe damage to include high stacks of bursting.

People say the sec procs a lot but I feel like mine does not, and it’s so frustrating. Is there something I’m missing? Every guide I’ve seen says you don’t need hard cast renew. Also our survivability is complete garbage.

Your holy words put renew on your target so you should get some procs. It's not a bad idea to actually cast renew sometimes to top people of or as a passive extra heal. I would really recommend speccing improved renew and hard cast it sometimes, with gear it actually does a good amount of healing

im running 24s on holy priest and i also use renew sometimes, especially when there is nothing actually going on i rewnew ppl to collect proccs. it works fine.

@@pontussjoberg1671I was very happy when they actually buffed renew healing. It was terrible season 1 & 2. Now if they can just make our talents more interesting than “spend 8 talent points on prayer of mending” I can’t stand that spell.

Why is haste a top stat?

blizz failure to calc stats correctly, ideally, holy should not be haste dependent and should be Crit, Mast, Verse, haste, where haste acts as a nice to have booster for the other 3 stats.. but they have built encounters and spec calculations that influence abilities and cd’s so badly for holy that you have to prioritize haste to fix those issues

your holy build/play looks like you are running a Holy priest, but build/running it like a Disc priest.. Holy isnt a damage healer like disc, but you built it to be used like a damage healer, which is what Disc is
