I love how my own hometown airport, O’Hare, gets a lot of holiday recognition, because of the first three Home Alone films. It’s impossible for me to ever head down Terminal #3, and not think of the McCallister Family running on down to catch their plane to Paris or Miami, or Peter, Earl, Burton, and Alice trying to catch Mrs. Hess.

Something like this would be impossible to happen today, where you have literal barcodes containing your information on your boarding pass and are booked ONTO the plane with those barcodes. If someone's barcode hasn't been scanned yet, they're obviously missing and get a call-out on the airport intercom to come to the gate. Even of you didn't lose your boarding pass like Kevin here, boarding the wrong plane is nearly impossible too because the barcode on the ticket doesn't match the plane. But this was 1991/92 😅

Even though we don't get Malcuary Culkin or the other cast in Home alone 3 here's my imagination of a third one with the cast: The McAllisters decide to go to Montreal to visit Kate's family (It is mentioned Kate's family are there in the original film) and at the gate Kevin decides to use the toilet and his family board the plane heading to Canada and Kevin who ends up losing his boarding pass accidently boards the wrong plane which just replaced his family's and he ends up in Mexico instead and enjoys the lovely weather and a fancy villa but comes face to face with Harry and Marv again while his family jet to Mexico to get him.

I've never been to O'Hare International Airport, but I've heard it's huge, probably one of the biggest Airports in the Country. That's the worst place to get lost in.

They're running all the way from the entrance to the gate. Back in 1992 when this movie came out, that could be done but not anymore. If this movie took place today, the whole family would be screwed. Nobody can get to a plane this quickly anymore because of 9/11. Ever since 9/11 happened, airport security had REALLY beefed up. Passengers have to get there like 3 hours before takeoff just to get through security. It's to ensure the 9/11 attack can not be repeated.

I was an extra in this film. If you scroll to 1:38 you'll see me on the left wearing a ski jacket. Don't blink or you'll miss me! Great experience tho. Spent 16 hours at ORD to film a 1-2 minute scene. Crazy but a lot of fun. Only actor on set that day was Mccaulay Culkin.

I used to think, well when I first watched the film, that when Kevin recorded himself on his Talkboy saying, “Dad wait!” He would then crank up the volume and his dad would hear him. Or not as the man he was chasing, looked like his dad from the back, but it wasn’t him. Utterly contrived of course; the other man was even dressed in the same clothes as Peter, but the filmmakers needed to make us suspend disbelief until the other man was seen from the front about to board the plane bound for New York. Then we saw it was indeed not Peter!

Even though we didn't get Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern or the rest of the other cast in Home Alone 3 here's my imagination idea of a third film installment in the series with the cast from the first 2 previous films would be if Macaulay Culkin hadn't simply refused to return to the role and took a rest break from Hollywood after filming and production on Richie Rich (1994) in just 7 years of his own personal life had finished to have "normal" lifestyle life for a while for a few years to attend private high school called the Professional Children's School in Manhattan, New York City, New York U.S. state, USA, changed the idea to instead focus on his youngest cousin Fuller McCallister (portrayed by Macaulay's real-life reality actual youngest brother, Kirean Culkin), or redevelop and retool the movie to revolve around on a different and new cast of characters and with the different movie plot storyline without featuring the cast from the first two previous films: Kevin McCallister would have return as a teenager starting at aged 13 years old, but this time has been sent to live with Peter McCallister's brother Rob McCallister's extended family relative members apartment in Paris, France for about few to many years as a punishment for committing negative peer pressure group crimes in his previous 2 pre-teen years (as an aged 11 and 12 year old boy kid) in either his last years of elementary school or his first years of middle school, for causing a violent feud conflict to his eldest brother Buzz over the stolen sliced pizza piece scene in the prologue scene in the first film and for humiliating him during the Christmas pageant stage show moment in the beginning of the second film and for causing even more trouble and pain to both Buzz McCallister and Peter McCallister as shown during the events of Home Alone and Home Alone 2:Lost in New York City where it was shown during the middle part of the 2 films and during the ending scene towards the very end of it of both films before the end credits scene would start with the ending credits started rolling (creating and leaving behind a large massive mess by destroying the board shelves in his oldest brother's bedroom when climbing up to reach and use his life-savings physical money cash he would later use for if he started attending and departed home for college/university after he graduated high school to buy himself a new toothbrush to Buzz, in Home Alone) and (spending a large amount of his dad's credit card money to order room service for his own foods at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, New York U.S. state, USA to Peter in Home Alone 2:Lost In New York City) and Kate McCallister decided to take another Christmas holiday vacation trip to visit either her parents in her parents home or her sister's extended family relative members in another home in either Ottawa or Toronto in Canada (in which she mentioned at some point or time either in one of the scenes or in one of the pieces of dialogue in first original idea film), he gets accidentally left behind after a brief family fight or argument conflict incident scene similar to what had previously happened in the past in the first 2 previous films when they decided to travel to a city in Canada for Christmas vacation road trip, and he has to he defend and protect his father's brother's extended family relative members's house in Paris, France from getting invaded and robbed by Harry Lyme and Marv Murchins, whom he must once again meets face-to-face another time again who this time broke and escaped maxium security prison building after their defeat and captivation by the police department in Home Alone 2:Lost In New York City right before the ending scene before the end credits start rolling and have found and gained new allies to help with them in their newest crime plan to steal all the valuable and most expensive items in each and every single houses all over Paris, France until they try to return and possibly send him back of this intermediate family relative members back in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America early if he remembers and learns the hard way from the moral lessons and aesops from the punishments he received and endured on from the mistakes and the bad deeds he committed from the last 2 previous films and promised to never ever do it again in any moment in any scene whenever he is all alone, on his own, by himself, or when other characters aren't appearing around or right next to him and sought advice to someone who might seemingly in one of the rumors from the beginning scene look scary or evil at first but right before the battle scene later revealed to be friendly similar to Old Man Marley in the 1st film and the Old Pigeon Lady in the 2nd film in an off-screen moment in between the events after the events of Home Alone 2:Lost In New York City and before the events of Home Alone 3.
