My mother is a flight attendant for American Airlines based at O’Hare. In 1990 she’d been flying 10 years. She said she showed up to the airport sometime during the spring and they were filming the airport scenes of Home Alone. She wondered why the concourse was decked out with Christmas decorations and soon found out why.

I was a 1 year old baby when this movie 🎥 came out, I’m 33 year’s old now. I remember always watching this in 📼 since I were like 5 😆👍🏼 good time’s man & time flies it’s crazy!

I think Home Alone is one of those series where the sequel is good if not better than the first part. (Most sequels don't meet the expectations of the first part.) Even after 32 years, both movies are amazing. R.I.P to those who've died.

Back in the mid 90s when I was in highschool, I told my friend: "the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s all had their things, the 90s has nothing, the 90s is so bland and boring". Now looking back the 90s was a magical time, the last ice age before cell phone, internet and digital gadgets roll in. The 90s with cable tv and tv ads, newspapers, sale flyers altogether made each holiday very vivid and special, made you feel eager for Christmas, Halloween now these 2 holidays are not the same . Tv ads were considered nuisances, now I had to search for them so I could feel the "days of yore". The 90s people talked more to each other on the buses and subways rather than 9/10 persons holding cell phones , You could hear stories of how families buying Christmas gifts and celebrating on the buses and trains.. People read books, newspapers, tv sitcoms were amazing . Morning and weekend cartoons were the best of the best that ever created, now I don't understand the new animation at all. Watching this and all the Home Alone casts it takes me back to the exact period, the 90s was so beautiful, it was full of dreams and hopes .... the imagination expanded as far as the eye could see, the future was so rosy, faces were young ....now all my uncles and aunts and people I know are aging, I pray for everyone of them, and I miss the 90s so much .

@Logia SD True, when you're in school you thought it was bad, but once you're out in the world and getting a job, things get sour, so we start to miss the good old days . Not only we're carefree but we still had family, mom, dad, siblings, uncles and aunts, teachers, classmates, friends, it's the mentality of being embraced as a child . When you're an adult everybody is too busy, you get more stresses and lonely and you start to trace back to the good old days. Knowing it's gone and won't return it's more special. Talking about Fresh Prince and the Golden Girl, I bought pretty much every 80-90s sitcom collection they have at Walmart lol, some are still in wraps, from: Fresh Prince, Golden Girl, Marriage With Children, Rosanne, Full House, The Simpsons, so so many I don't remember how much I have, and don't know if I have time to watch them all, but if Walmart put out anything I will take it .

@@Ash-nh6li So true, all the new technologies are ahead of their time now, but economically speaking more growing adults and university grads are still living at home with mom and dad or returning home because they can't afford the skyrocketed rent and house prices, considering they have jobs, good paying wages and still have difficulties with housing, and this applies to everywhere in the world not just North America .

These movies will always be my favorite Christmas films! I was 4 when the first film came out & might have been the first movie I saw in a theater which was my earliest memory of going to the theater. I still have the first film on VHS, but upgraded to the DVD a decade ago & just upgraded again to the 4K Blu-ray last year which I paid only $10 on Black Friday & looks really good for a 30+ year old film.

I remember this movie staying in the cinemas for six months straight that year and it was the #1 movie in the US all those months. Parents will take their kids like five times and even more to see it. Kids couldn't get enough of Kevin, making Mackaulie Culkin the most famous and richest child on the planet. Btw, the score of this movie is superb.

ЛУЧШИЙ НОВОГОДНИЙ ФИЛЬМ! Буквально словно 3 года назад смотрел будто в первый раз этот фильм, но увы это было не 3 года назад а 12 лет уже прошло, сейчас мне 25. Как ужасно летит время как мы быстро стареем и не успеваем насладиться всеми прелестями жизни кроме работа дом, дом работа нервы.

Great! I loved it. Very well explained. I congratulate the creators of the video. It was great to remember a movie that marked the lives of many of us who are adults today. In 1990 I was barely 8 years old and I remember perfectly when I went to the movie theater with my grandma and my brother to watch that movie. Time passes to fast!

This and Toy Story 1&2 is what I watch with my kids during Christmas season, got the fire place burning, tree up (not that many presents under the tree yet) got the hot cocoa and s'mores, sitting on the sofa watching all the home alones and Toy story 1&2

Every holiday season I watch these 2 movies and it never gets old seeing young Kevin outsmart those 2 burglars lol. I was negative 2 years old when the first Home Alone movie came out. Now I'm going on 30 next July. It's amazing how fast time goes by!

Буквально словно 3 года назад смотрел будто в первый раз этот фильм, но увы это было не 3 года назад а 12 лет уже прошло, сейчас мне 25. Как ужасно летит время как мы быстро стареем и не успеваем насладиться всеми прелестями жизни кроме работа дом, дом работа нервы.

Man this cast has shown their ages. I was a kid when the first one came out. Maybe 8 or 9. 37 now and yeah, time flies. RIP tho to Kevin's "Dad".

Here in Mexico this movie is know as "My poor little angel" and is one of those beautiful movies from the 90's that nobody forget and even the new generations love. The 90's man, what a times!...

Born January 1st 1976. I was 13 when Home Alone was made. Wow time sure does pass you by quickly! I watch this film to this day especially around the holidays! Love it!
