How do you prepare for birth, Why don't you just go to a hospital and why is nutrition so important?? This interview goes behind the scenes and we get an inside look into who Samantha is and why she's making these big decisions!

I love how Tom thinks that people are going to think you're crazy and I'm sitting here and couldn't be more onboard with everything you've said - your content is clearly finding the right people

We had our first baby (son) via a hospital birth in 2020 as all the madness was kicking off and it wasn't the most pleasant experience. It felt very unnatural. Had our daughter at home in 2023 with a midwife and doula present. The experience was the complete opposite, peaceful and calm with nobody hassling you within seconds to give your baby toxic injections. Anyone thinking of a home birth and being worried, don't, if you have the right people around you it's a very safe and natural option to bring your little one into the world. We're hit with fear porn every day telling us not to trust our bodies and that we need all of these medical style interventions to stay alive when it's just not true. Kudos to you.

Love how you are trying to do everything as natural as possible... Also the quirkiness of you both is adorable... You won't be alone in this birth... God Bless

This video popped up after your video of Zipporahs birth, it was amazing, Mum was even more amazing. Birth has definitely been over-medicalized. My daughter had a baby in '23, she chose an epidural, had to have a forcep delivery, jibby jabs in the first few hours, the whole trauma. Hopefully your birth of Zipporah will inspire Mums to be to pursue natural free births.

Good On you guys for creating all of this. My partner and I just had our 3rd baby and second freebirth. What you guys are doing is our dream but we are currently renting, in a bit of debt and living off of one income. I’ve been wanting to start a channel for a while now showing us learning to grow our own food but just haven’t because I feel like we don’t know enough. But watching you guys has been a huge inspiration for me to just start. You guys are doing awesome. I love the quirkiness and rawness of your videos. You don’t see it a lot these days and it’s the exact content I love. We are also a no jab by juice family and I love that you speak about this so openly. I do in day to day life but online can be horrid. Keep up the great work guys. X

You don’t have to do tests or certain late scans or even give shots to baby like K. In my mind the hospital interventions aren’t going to happen unless you agree or sign so if that’s the reason there’s probably no need for most people to avoid it

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I think you should have done a *this is based on our experiences and you should speak to your healthcare professional for care tailored to your own needs* or something like that. Just to take liability away from yourselves. As someone who has had 3 children, all needed to be induced due to my waters leaking and body not going into labour on its own - with all three children. If I hadn’t have gone to the hospital for swollen ankles, I wouldn’t have known I was leaking.

I think boy and definitely shorter in the pushing stage. First is always the longest. (Except my second that was a month early and 11 and a half pounds but only because he didn’t fit lol)

They treat the baby like a disease that needs to be removed from the mother essentially "It's a clump of cells" Lol Magical child by Joseph Chilton Pearce is an amazing book

Unfortunately, not one size fits all. If the mother is older, the risks increase because of her age. Very slim-hipped women can struggle to push a baby out, which can lead to all sorts of complications. I was a high risk mother and I am thankful that I had an experienced medical team to assist when I birthed my daughter 36 years ago. I needed an episiotomy as there was no way she was going to come out on her own. As it turns out she was a face-to-ceiling presentation which means a home birth would’ve jeopardised her life without intervention. I admire you for your confidence in wanting to go it alone, but it’s unashamedly not something I wanted to do on my own.

I thought you had been about to say "we had our first at Scumshine Hospital" hence the reason you did not want to return for Baby number 2. That place is a 💩 hole with some poor maternal outcomes. You guys are such Aussies "yeah nah" 😂. Thanks for sharing. Hi from Western Suburbs Melbourne 👋
