Today’s offering is a standing yoga practice that is most necessary for us to move forward on this journey. It’s 18 minutes that should fly by, so whatever you are coming to the mat with, try to stay focused and take yesterday’s inquisitiveness with you.
You might find it easier to find your breath when you are flowing in and out of shapes.
See if you can find that same depth of breath today as we ground in new asana vocabulary.
Take whatever you are working with today and make a home for it.
Allow it to teach you, serve you, reflect back to you.
This is a practice for the mind and body. Ground. So we can grow.

Accept where I am at right now. I started to get frustrated when I realized I couldn't go completely into a flat back position but then I caught myself and was able to accept it and be proud of myself instead.

Yoga With Adriene I found a new stretch today (the cross legged standing one). It felt unusual & quite strong but I was able to lean into it. Maybe I can (should?) explore new opportunities that will stretch me off the mat and it will similarly be new but okay.

YES I didn’t do all 30 days in January... the theme HOME as a whole new meaning now .... being home for a long period of time will be quite a challenge for me as I am often away for work or hobbies.

Adriene I’m easily 100lbs over weight, but I show up every day. Some days my wrists give up and others I can make it all the way through. You make me comfortable, knowing my body isn’t exactly yoga ready... I still meet you here and find a new awareness every morning.

Today marks 100 days of at home yoga. Thank you Adriene for all your quirkiness, peacefulness and warmth that have kept me coming back! I started with Breathe in our New Zealand summer holidays. I then found I wanted to keep going, so came Move, then True, and now I am returning Home. Some days I miss, but I really love it and am truly grateful. 💜

Had a bit of a stressful evening with a plumbing issue in my house last night and ended up staying at a friends house which was lovely but at the same time it’s different to my familiar space. However doing this yoga there this morning has really helped me remember that I AM HOME, my body, my mind, my soul - that is what is home regardless of my geographical location. Namaste 🙏

i probably wouldn’t still be doing this if adriene wasn’t the one who led. thanks for being such a good instructor but also a good person. i had my first day of online school and i didn’t really enjoy it so i was excited when it ended because i could come here :))

Because of the missing ' after "neighbours", I at first thought you were saying you wanted to carry your (old, immobile) neighbours around the shop, and by the time I realised the mistake that mental picture was already in my head XD An 80 year old carrying an old neighbour on each arm through the supermarket so they can do their shopping.

"If you feel out of balance, just widen your base." This is one of my YWA favourites because it is the kind of yoga I can take off the mat. It taught me so much about life in general and my own presence in particular. It is chockful of Adriene wisdom and it helped me understand how if you truly want to reach for something, figuratively or literally, you need to soften and ground, find your base, figuratively and literally. I want to thank you for providing free at home yoga practice! Today's at home session is Home day 10, but also personally for me it's day 54 straight of yoga practice. I have always been plagued with severe anxiety and adding yoga to my every day has helped me soooo much! I set a challenge for myself to practice yoga every day for a year. I have tried a bunch of yoga apps and classes and I love my yoga time with Adrienne 😍🤗 thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!🤗

Hi Everyone! I have a health condition that flares up when I exercise too much. I've recently tried to step into some high intensity yoga practices and I think it was too much too quickly. I got out of the habit of doing YWA every day and I must say, returning back to this video this morning, and reading all your comments, I forget how much this series operates on the level of the mind, body, and heart. Rekindling my daily journey and feeling connected with this community helps me find my center, and tap into a space of self compassion and self love. I'm living with family now and struggling financially, but when I finish one of these videos I loosen my grip on any sense of limitation or lack and feel open to a new world of possibility. Thank you all for showing up, and thank you Adriene for being our humble guide. Namaste. 🙏

Day 10 - Ground was so good! 😍 After yesterdays revelation that I myself am the reason why things don't work as often as I'd like, I showed up different on the mat today. I felt determined to give it my all, believe in myself and make it work! And yes yes yes I was grounded! I felt a strong foundation and was able to follow you in every movement. I even took it a little further than I normally would and still stood strong! 💪🏻 I'm so proud of myself! ❤️ Thank you Adriene for your guidance! Namaste! 🙏🏻

I haven't continued Home for over two weeks but today, after my therapist asked what good thing I can do today for myself, doing yoga came to mind. So here I am now, after my therapy session, doing the practice and being emotional.

Lovely Day 10. As you asked us to place our hands over our hearts, I felt the fast beating of my own heart and the warmth from my hands, and my mind was brought to those suffering from COVID-19. I felt how precious my own beating heart, being able to breathe deeply, and to be aware of all of this is. I love the quote from one of your first emails, "People say we're all seeking a meaning for life. I don't believe that's what we're really seeking. I believe we're seeking an experience of being alive"~Joseph Campbell. I feel grateful to notice my being during these practices, I feel grateful for being alive. The best part of the day is winding down with Adriene. HOME has flipped a switch. Now, should I miss a day due to illness or schedule, I double up the following day to keep on track. The daily messages and inspirational quotes lift my heart.

Today is my birthday and some grounding is always helpful! My back is a little achy and the practice today was soothing. While we are no longer on lockdown, I am still isolating and spending most time with my dog💕. Connecting to Yoga with Adriene is helping to keep me grounded and motivated in my exercise regimen. Today was my day 100! I have been practicing yoga for years, but finding a daily practice with Adriene has changed everything - it has put me on an upward spiral. A 45 year old teacher and mother of three in the busy and stress inducing town of Brooklyn, NY, there is little time to spare ... but this 25 or so minutes a day have given me back my body, my energy and even my sleep. Thank you Adriene.

I loved when you said that the mat is a mirror and that we can bring whatever it is we're working with to it. I heard from a someone who hurt me and my mind and heart were roiling. I feel much more grounded now. I'm strong and can be grounded on my strong foundation. Here I can admit my weakness and hurt, knowing that if I remember who I am no one can throw me off, grounded as I am. No one has that power over me. Thank you. Namaste.

At the beginning of today's class, I could not stand firm with my feet together. Towards the end, when you asked us to stand with our feet together on the last pose, I felt more grounded and I felt proud of myself! It was my first time to hear the saying "The mat is your reflection". When noticed that I had a harder time grounding or keeping my balance when I closed my eyes compared to when I gazed on somewhere, I realized that it somehow reflected my extroverted personality. At that point I realized the saying was true. It is a constant challenge for me to find grounding in life on my own and without other people. It is more natural for me to try to look out for other's opinion than to reflect on my own experiences and opinion. It is honestly not a bad thing that I am this way, but I would like to take it as a challenge to learn to let go, trust myself more and find grounding on my own. Like what I said before, I saw how I improved from the beginning to the end of today's class and I felt proud of myself. I remember that each individual goes through life and grows as a person at their own pace, like me, and so I should respect mine. Thank you for your guidance Adrienne!

I can't thank you enough, Adriene. I started Yoga with Adriene at the beginning of the pandemic and am now practicing my fifth 30 day program. Thank you so much for helping me be strong, calm, healthy and balanced through these past 5 months and going forward. I am very grateful, namaste.

Adriene you always know what we need. I came to the mat today very unsettled and am leaving feeling better knowing over the next few hours the practice will wash thru me and I’ll feel more settled. Today was supposed to be a cardio workout but I wasn’t feeling it. I love mixing your yoga in throughout the week. Thank you for all you share.

Past week has been really rough to me, work I had to do and recent events have overwhelmed me with stress and I just couldn't make myself do the tenth day's practice in about a week. My home was a mess, my dishes were dirty, the deadlines for publishing a story as well as college tests are coming real close. But I couldn't concentrate, I couldn't work towards any of those goals. I just didn't feel like it. But today I'm back in our journey. I just love how Adrienne assumed I was here yesterday and wasn't judging me for taking this long pause. Coming back to this routine, hearing her voice, seeing Benji and going through the practice kinda felt like coming back together. I cleaned my home and I'm going to keep working on my story in a minute. All because _my_ story, my life is coming together. What can I say? Thanks for making me _feel home_ again. I'll see you tomorrow ❤

I love that 99% of the time. Searching for Yoga with Adriene means finding the exactly right practice to make you feel coming back home. The precise movement and words you need to hear to come back to the warmth of "being home". The other 1% you need to add a word or two but you end up finding the "right" practice. Like today, for me, I added the word grounding and found this one. And had so many flashbacks and epiphanies, corroborated by Adriene's words. Just after the moment I understood that "aligned action" doesn't always mean to have things running smoothly and getting what you want, but rather to keep on taking the right steps, or doing the right things to keep going when things get tough, andI heard her saying: "Take it as a time to explore, not necessarily to check out the boxes or make it right", or the moment she said: "You might say, wow I feel the expansion, you can be sure, that the contraction will come". And that's it, life has "good" and "bad" moments, the question is what will you do about it? I also finally felt I get that the phrase "accept what I cannot change" is not passive acceptance of whatever comes to you, but rather understand that there are things that are out of your reach, but it does not mean you let them press and push you, rather what is it that is in our hands, within your reach that hou can keep working on and change? , how do you manage to stand your ground while everything outside is moving and out of balance? Harder to explain than to comprehend. I enjoyed some memories that came when crossing the knees head down from a yime a lived abroad and went to belly dance with a friend and my visiting mom, and it was nice when I had an "aha" moment when we did the sort of triangle posture on the second side, because it was then when I got that it was not so much about coming down but rather strenghten the spine and could feel the stretch in my left inner thigh, differently than when I did the other side. It was also nice to remember another "Aha" moment I had a time ago, when Adriene gave us a visual on zipping the inner side of the legs and push the belly to the the back in order to do the chair, and ever since then, doing chair pose stopped being a struggle for me! So many things I feel like a child speaking of her first day at school! Thank you so much for so many wonderful experiences! I start energy low and end up high! 💜🌷

Today was an amazing grounding stretch day. I hadn't realized that I'd had muscles that needed to be stretched out. Last night, I was showing one of my family members some of the moves from day 9 that we did (like the three legged dog) and I successfully held the moves without my exercise gloves. I actually felt no pain and I almost cried when I realized that. I haven't felt that in years. So, thank you Adriene for helping me get stronger.

After a 13 hour day at work I missed yesterday's practice so decided to do Day 9 and 10 back to back this afternoon after waking up feeling floaty and all over the place and it was exactly what I needed to feel grounded and back in routine 😍 Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

Hi Adriene! THANK YOU so much for all of your videos. I did your beginners yoga about 20 times before I gave myself the kindness I needed to let go of self doubt and open my heart to trying something more. I feel so good! I have fibromyalgia and these stretches are amazing. This practice also helps with my anxiety as I struggle with the world around me in these uncertain times. Giving myself the time to fully relax and connect with my being is so refreshing. Thank you for being here for all of us as we join you from a distance. Thank you for taking your time while guiding us. Thank you for sharing yourself with us!

Doing this practice while experiencing a micro panic attack. I'm so tired of feeling my feelings. I'm so tired of feeling trapped and defeated. Even in this space, yoga gives me moments of peace. I continue to come to the mat because I know I might learn just what I needed
