I too have lost many loved ones such as my partner (60), my best friend (43) etc. So beautifully sung by Rob with so much emotion that it touches your heart and soul. Because if you can sing as well, as it reaches only to my ears it's not good enough for me. But this is so perfect. Goosebumps. Beautiful cover with respect for the original. They just give it a Home Free twist like Tim's piece with Amazing Grace. So good harmonies and great bass in the background .. And then that video, so emotional!! So many families that have been through this.😢 My father came out of the war alive after 4 years in a Japanese camp. Often in isolation. With the help of a fellow inmate, he survived. But it still bothered him physically and mentally. He was hard on us. We were not allowed to show our emotions and weakness, otherwise they would get us. After all, he himself had survived the war that way. In 1969, 3 days before my 6th birthday, he died from the physical effects of the war. He was only allowed to live to be 50 years old. Amazing Grace was sung at his funeral. One of his favorite songs that he often sang as a pastor.

Big Papa D!! Keep, keep in’ it real!!! I feel like my entire 54 years I’ve been so blessed! “When will that shoe fall?” Grandparent’s died in their late 70’s-early 90’s. Father from a family of 10, only 1 gone so far…Mother from a family of 7-ALL good. Dad’s side in the past 2 years, 2 cousins near my age, gone (brothers!). Youngest sister diagnosed with breast cancer. My almost 15 year old daughter diagnosed with a rare chronic kidney disease at age 6!! Life is LIFE!!! We ALL have an expiration date stamped on us, but we can’t see it!! All we can do is be the ABSOLUTE BEST people we can be to make this world a little better for us as well as our fellow humans here among us!! ☮️ bro!!

It took me years to be able to listen to this song (and it still brings tears to my eyes) because Vince Gill released it a few days before my baby brother passed away and it was constantly on the radio for weeks after that. I'm sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to everyone who has experienced the loss of loved ones.

My brother died at the age of 39 and all three of my sisters died at 43, 44 and 52 all for different reasons. So i know how you feel.

Much respect to you for your openness with your thoughts. I also am an emotional person, "wear your heart on your sleeve" type person. Good job man, we need more people who can be an open book even when it's uncomfortable or makes you feel vulnerable.
