"Well, that was depressing" after I Can't Outrun You caused me break into a laughing-cough. Spot on. Austin singing made me sad, but Rob's ad libs sends chills.

It was interesting that it was in color when the lady was on screen and dark the rest of the time. Yes the harmonies were great but to give him his due, Chance did a great job too.

It was tough on Austin after 5 years with his lady. This was therapy for him. He mentions Georgia nights, that’s where he is from. The video, “All On Me”, with him and the former girlfriend, Olena, is quite lovely. You might check that out. Also, “When You Walk In”, is great! Austin is dancing with a professional dancer, Brittany Cherry. The video has the dancing, but a live version has Austin doing some wailing (which Rob says he’s the best wailer he knows!!!)

1st song: This is still my #1 for HF music & video! I knew you'd like it!! It is depressing, but.... It's also incredible! This is Chance's concept & he directed it; his pet project. So good! (Btw: it was written by Trace Adkins; abt his divorce). 2nd song: Another stellar song by Austin. His "Lonely Girl's World" is fantastic too!! Austin & Tim are such good composers!

Looking back, Chance was a brilliant addition to this group! Not to diminish Chris, but Chance adds another super voice and also another true baritone/bass. And his voice is so velvety.

2 sad songs, but done with perfection! Their harmonies are so clean!! Chance’s vocals on the first one were so rich. Tim sang low notes, as usual. The second he was almost the same couple of notes throughout the song. It was very present, but I loved it. Rob is always amazing at the ad libs!! Love them all! Loved Adam’s sound effects in the second was so cool!! He’s da bomb!! Loved your reaction.

Both of these are wonderful. It took me a few viewings to latch onto the backing vocals in Love Me Like That, but they are pretty amazing. Nothing surprising there. Fabulous. Loved your initial reaction to Can't Outrun You: "That was depressing." But gorgeous.

Chance directed & produced this one. Did you also see Chance used a terrific technique in this too....it was in B & W except for all reminders of her. The harmonies are just amazing. The 2nd song yeah was written by Austin about his break up with Olena (not sure of the spelling) If you've seen House Party she was in that one.....or this was story I've picked up from the comments

these two songs are really really good!! you can really hear the pure emotion put into them! fun facts: funny you should mention that adam carried love me like that, this is actually his favorite song from their DBS album! also, chance actually directed the video of i can't outrun you, that song was all his idea and it turned out great! glad that both of them have moved on.

lol!!! Way to go buddy putting two of the saddest songs they do together!! lol. They are awesome, harmonies, arrangements, videos, all of it. But yes, they are super sad. Many of us have gone through these things they are singing about so it touches pretty deep. They know how to show the emotion, that's for sure! Time for some fun now! There are many, try American Kids an oldie just for some fun! Take care.

Poor Austin, why would anyone ever break that boy's heart!!! LOL! Thanks again for your breakdowns, I really enjoy them. Some more recommendations of REALLY fun upbeat songs are: "Love Train (really awesome!)", "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" and "Sold". There are two of their quarantine songs that I don't think you did, "Flowers On the Wall" and "Quarantine". I'm a big fan, thanks for your videos!!!

These two have me tearing up. They are so good at bringing out emotions. In each song you want to give comfort to the lead singer. Another one that has be tearing up is Home Free's 19 You and Me feat. Peter Hollens. Peter did the same video feat. Home Free, but his video while still wonderful, doesn't have the visuals that HF's does. I watched a BTS video years ago where Peter, dressed for HF's video said "If I start singing melody, smack me" or something like that. It amused me. So I THINK he and Austin switch off on the melody for the two videos. It's been a while since I've watched them. Sorry, just got up, need more coffee, I'll shut up. :P I enjoyed your reaction as usual! Thanks. ^_^

You made me see I can’t outrun you from a different perspective! It’s just too depressing for me but the harmonies and their singing parts, wow!!! Thanks for that! Love me like that is an awesome song, and it was magical to hear it live, so much passion in it for Austin. Both these songs has got some crazy tight harmonies and beautiful solos. They are both beautifully filmed too. Good choice to have them in a double reaction. Fantastic!

Thank you for this great double reaction, it gave me a complete new appreciation for both of them. I don't know if you noticed (it is a bit difficult without the Learning Tracks) but the high 'You Loved Me' throughout the song was sung by Tim.

@@QofyReacts as Patron on a higer level I get the Learning Tracks, it's definitely Tim. It took me completely by surprise too - I knew he could go that high but never suspected until I listened to his track! I just listened to it againg: Most of the song he sings the low parts and then these high 'you love me', 'you love me like that', and 'we always had a shoulder'in between 🙄😮 . In the second part of the song he also sings 'truth be told girl, in a way I hope you hear this' and 'pull out your phone and take a trip down memory lane with' in the background while Austin sings the same in the lead - and drops the bass bomb right after. Then again never getting older', 'we always had a shoulder', 'caved in my parents tought me', 'no one I loved could love me like that', 'you loved me like that' in the background. Quite at the end he goes even higher 'we could do no wrong, we always had a shoulder', 'we caved in and I leaned in, may parents tought me' still in the background.

Hi Qofy! I loved I Can’t Outrun You. It’s one of my favorites of Home Free’s covers and even though it is sad I just love the low notes and those harmonies. Just a beautiful cover. Austin’s song is beautiful too. He’s so good. I heard background notes I hadn’t heard before. Loved your reaction.

I kind of feel like I’m intruding on a private moment of his every time I listen to this! Something more upbeat is their cover of Sold by John Michael Montgomery. Two great songs, but as you say, some of their saddest. There's a very good recording of Love Me Like That from a concert you might enjoy watching, obviously I'm not expecting you to react to it again. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNRyhs9ny9fKdas.html but Austin's obviously really feeling it. On the other hand, if you want something to cheer you up try Don't It Feel Good - there's no official video, but they did it in concert for a couple of years, it's another one of Tim's feelgood songs.

I love how you "pick apart" the music. I hear things I've missed even though I've listened to most of these dozens of times. If you get a chance look up Trace Adkins version of I Can't Outrun You. Talk about heartbreak! He wrote it about the break-up of his marriage and it just tears your heart out.. Home Free's covers of songs are usually better than the originals, in my opinion, but Trace's version of this one is unforgettable. Keep safe, please.
